Should I wait? I'm so nervous lol

So I'm patiently waiting for that $25 coupon from Southwest (did the email thing last night) I know it takes up to 7 days, but today I found a great flight for my mom who lives in Miami (SW flies out of Ft Lauderdale which is fine) for 79 each way which is a great price compared to other airlines that wanted to charge 290 leaving from Miami.

So the question is should I gamble and wait until I recieve the coupon to get her flight hoping it will be the same price as today or just get her flight now since its a great price anyway.. Help! Thanks in advance this whole planning this is stressful! lol

Is this to MCO? How long out? If you have months maybe wait. If you have a month probably don't want to risk it if it is under half of what the other guys are charging.

Have you been watching this particular flight and noticed that the price dropped? If so, I'd just go ahead and book it, esp when it's only 1 person flying. If it were a family of 4 or 5, then waiting for the coupon is usually worth it.
If you just started looking at SW maybe that's what it's been all along and the $25 coupon would take an additional $12.50 off each way.
I would post a new thread here and ask if anyone has a spare coupon code they could offer and when you get yours you could pay it forward.
When this code/offer was 1st discovered, no one knew that you only need 1 code for multiple passengers. Many of us, including myself, used our whole family's email addresses to get multiple coupons thinking only 1 pp. I had some left over but gave them away to family and friends flying with us.

Hope you can get one soon! Ours really did take a full week to arrive. I was ready to give up thinking it was a scam when it finally came.

I applied weeks ago, never got it. I just booked on SW today for a August trip. PHL to MCO. Fares were higher than I liked, but at least with SW there are far less additional charges (seat charge, luggage, etc) and it is flexible, credit if fares drop. I will check often for a drop.

Don't do it!! I got mine two days after I emailed it to myself. Just be patient! You'll be happy that you were.
