Should I wait for the new Cricut?

I think I have decided that the cricut is the best tool for me (too much work to learn the wishblade & craftrobo) Should I wait for the new cricut?

It depends on what size paper you want to cut. I love the one I have now and you can find them at agreat price. If I were you I would get the smaller one to see if you like it. I would hate to spend the bigger bucks and find out I didn't even like it.

I would have to agree that it depends on what you want. Last summer I ordered the craftrobo and within a couple of days decided it couldn't do everything I wanted and order the craftrobo pro, so now I have a craftrobo that has barely been used sitting on a shelf waiting for me to do something with it while I use my pro. If you think you would want the bigger machine wait until you can see it and try it. I love having the bigger machine but it was silly to just order the small one without really looking into things.

I'm very happy with my Cricut and I don't have the need to make anything bigger then 5 inches. I keep finding more and more uses for my Cricut. I never thought I would use it as much as I do. I don't see my self getting the new one. I love my bug.

I was worried about the size thing until I realized how big 5" really is! I am almost always in the 1-2 1/2" range unless I'm making tags

It all depends on what size paper you want to cut. I just got mine recently and decided to get the current one. The big one is just too big for me.

Is that the main difference -- the size it will cut? I did read about it, but without owning the current one, I haven't been able to determine what the significant differences are, other than size.

I have read that you can use the current cartridges in both cricuts -- but are the currrent cartridges limited in size in the new cricut? That is, will the ZooBalloo font cut at 10" in the new cricut?

My quesitons would be how much do you want to spend? Alot of places have the bug for 125 to 135 i love mine and would not trade it for the new one.

Not sure how much bigger and heavier the new one is, but my little one fits perfect on my table and is very portable. I also can't imagine cutting anything larger than 5" unless it was for one of my chidren's school projects. But I don't think it would be worth the extra cost for that.
