Should I upgrade to Annual Pass?

DH and I are going to DLR in May (6 full days + 2 half days) and have 6 day hopper tickets. :woohoo: We are staying off site.

We had planned on Hawaii for 2 weeks in September but I just got back my vacation approval at work and did not get the 2 weeks off. I only was approved for one week and can't get anyone to work for me. :sad2:

Sooo I am thinking we can just go to DLR again in Sept for 5 full days and 2 half days. Also may go for our anniversay in Dec for a quick 4 day weekend. :dance3:

That being said I am thinking of upgrading to the Annual Pass (the one with no blackouts).

Since I am staying off site I know I won't get the MM with the AP but I will be able to go into the parks on the half days so I am thinking this would be a wash.

Also this trip DH will need to spend time each day on the computer working on his college classes so MM would be just for me. He thinks much better early as he gets up early (1:30am) for work. But he would give up his computer time for one morning if it that big of a deal. We do have 6 full days and 2 half days and don't plan on the comando ride style of visiting.

With the AP we would get a discount on food and shopping.

So is the discount worth it to miss MM and I should upgrade when we first get there or wait until we are ready to leave? The Sept and Dec vacations are ones we would do anyway just changing the destination.

So the main question: Upgrade right away and use the discounts OR upgrade before we leave and enjoy MM?

I say, update to annual passes on the first Magic Morning day. If you arrive on a Friday, I would use the Magic Morning on Saturday and upgrade to APs on Saturday when I was getting ready to park hop. This way, you get to use your Magic Morning, and you get the discount for having an AP for the majority of your trip.
Have a great time!

For sure if you are doing three trips a Premium AP is worthwhile. Do as suggested enter with your PH to get MM and upgrade when crowds pick up later at the ticket booths. Enjoy the discount the rest of you trip and saving on PH on your future trips too.

See if DH can take that Saturday am as the one where he takes a break from his studies, ever if just for two hours to hit the MM and leave shortly after.
