Should I try?

So its been a few years since we have been to the world, and we try staying at a new place every time we go. This time we are booked at POR royal room. I have stayed at POFQ before, but the family has not, and we figured we would like the royal rooms.

And now . . .I am second guessing my self. It may be our last trip for a while - DD 18, DS 13, DH and me. DD will be in college this year, and will likely have a lot going on during summers, and vacations will prob not line up with the kids for a while.

Soooo, then I started thinking, maybe I should have gone deluxe. We have always wanted to do the Poly or BYC (we have done WL and AKL before). But now we leave in two weeks. So I think it is too late to get anything but rack rate. Right? So should I call and see what they have? Is there any chance I could get any discount (we are AAA)? IS it worth it? Or should I leave well enough alone?

I think you'll enjoy POR BUT if it's the last trip for awhile and you have the $$ to splurge I'd def go for the Poly. Beach/Yacht club will be cheaper Probably too late to get any discounts although AAA might have something available. You'll have to pay the diff up front though since you are so close to your trip. You can always price it out and decide not to do it..no harm in that

You will love POR. Save your money and do a special activity with the entire family. Maybe a fireworks cruise or KTTK tour....that you might never be able to do at this age again.

It never hurts to try. But if it doesn't work out this trip, plan for a deluxe on the next trip.
