Should I take ME late at night?

I am arriving at MCO on SW around midnight with my 2 kids, ages 2 and 9. I will have to get my bags at baggage claim in Terminal A - otherwise they will come to my room around 3am. From baggage cliam in Terminal A I will have to take the bags, a stroller, and the 2 sleepy kids to the Terminal B welcome center for ME. Given this scenario I think it might be easier to take a car service. What do you think? Any recommendations on a car service that is dependable late at night?

Your bags won't come at 3AM, they will be delivered in the morning. Just put pajamas and a change of clothes in your carryon and you will be fine. I would take DME, personally. Can't get much safer than that and can't beat the price!

ANY of the reputable car services that have been mentioned on the transportation board (e.g. FL Tours, Tiffany, Cartier, Sunray, Murray Hill if they've been mentioned, if not they're still good) can be trusted to show up. But JUST IN CASE, Magical Express WILL be there - just make sure you reserve in advance.

You do not not not need to pick up your luggage. Put the yellow DME tags on each checked bag before you check it. When you get to your hotel, tell the Front Desk CM you want your luggage delivered in the morning. When you get to your room, call Bell Services/Luggage Assistance and tell them the same thing. As an added bit of insurance, put the "Privacy Please" card in the card slot of your room's door before you lock up for the night.

Thanks for the great advice. I did not realize we can have our bags held until morning. We'll just head to Terminal B and ME from the plane.

I'll be arriving around 10:30 p.m. and that's what we'll be doing, too. Don't bother asking the DME people at the airport to hold your bags 'til morning. Once the DME luggage is at the resort, then it is the resort staff that does the delivering and/or holding of luggage. So when you check in, ask at the front desk to have the luggage held 'til morning. Then you should also do the same thing at Bell Services before you go to your room. As a third safety net, Tyler once suggested that you also put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door.

I think that is the name of the company we used. Anyway, when we got off the plane they were standing the, one man, with our name. He told us where our luggage was going to be, led us over there then proceeded to ask us to point out the bags. He loaded, carried and put everythin in the Town Car. Same thing when he picked us up to leave the mouse. He took bags to a sky cap, tipped the sky cap, and then we were on our way. Our cost was 100.00. And just to point out it was before DME. We really enjoyed the service. BTW. When he picked us up, it was when the tsunami hit. He graciously asked us if we had been watching the news. We told him no, then he told us something very bad had happened. He gently told us was happened. It was good coming from him. Much better than walking into the airport and seeing what we saw on TV. Very nice people.
