Should I take bus or own car from AKL to Mickeys not so scary at MK?

I will have 2 children and maybe a stroller with me. I am more concerned about when I leave the park and being able to get back to AKL the easiest way after the Halloween Party. Which do you think is better my own car or the bus?

For most parks, I'd prefer to drive than ride the bus, but MK is different because of the TTC. That's a whole separate step that other parks don't have. Once you arrive via monorail or ferry at the TTC, you need to ride a tram or walk a long distance to get to your car. By contrast, getting to the bus is as simple as going out the front of MK and getting in line. Yes, you might wait a few minutes, but there's no other transfers after that, and you may well be faster than driving, and the bus will take you straight to AKL with no stops.

Again, I'd make the opposite suggestion at any other park.

My vote would be for your own car. Yes, you have to ferry or monorail over to the TTC where the parking is located. However, you can leave when you want. There is no waiting on the bus with tired, cranky children. In addition, the bus we got on after the party was so hot an older woman passed out. It was ridiculus. It was the one time I wished I had driven my own car.

No, but there is waiting for the monorail or the ferry, and then waiting again for the tram.

Well we have done both alot. The Bus overall is the better option for time. If you leave with the masses(after fireworks) of people the boat wait is way to long and the monorial can take time to. Busses here is better. If you leave at a time with less people heading out taking your own vechile can be just as quick. We prefer car because of the freedom to go were ever after MK but we know its a trip to the car. We never found the bus service poor at AKL either.
