Hi,
I have morning doves on my porch. They had 2 babies.....moved onto another basket and had 2 more. I just looked and the 1 baby is dead. I see mom still coming and sitting on it....probably trying to warm it
I feel bad. Should I take the dead bird out....or wait till the other baby moves out.
Hate to have them next to the dead baby. Should I just wait?
Thanks
Kerri
Update.....The baby bird I think tried to fly too soon. I looked last night and didn't see it on the ground. This morning I saw the parents noodling around my porch....they "cooed" and then I saw BABY
It must have been in the Hosta......I saw the parents there.....but I didn't see them feed it.....and now they are gone. I hope they come back and feed it.
SHOULD I PUT IT BACK IN THE NEST. I REMOVED THE DEAD BIRD AFTER I SAW THE OTHER ONE GONE?
Thanks
Kerri
