Should I split my ressie for Kids stay and FD?

We are going Aug 23-Sept 2. We are booked under kids stay and play. Would it save me any money at all to check out on the 28th and check back in under free dining? We are staying at ASMo and have basic dining. I'd call dis but I hear the wait times are forever!

It's possible, but I highly doubt it. You would need the adults to outnumber the kids for sure and even then I'm not sure having to pay for 2 day tickets again would save you anything at all. How many adults and children?

2 adults, 2 kids and we are considering upgrading to annual passes since we are going back again in December if that makes a difference. If it's too complicated I won't worry with it!

It's not going to save you much if anything b/c you will have to buy 2 day tickets for all of you again to get Free Dining. For a family of 4 thats spending over $600 to just get the promo, yeah you could put those tickets back and use them another year but thats alot to just get free dining for a few days.

4 nights of regular DDP for a party of 4 (2A/2C) is only $464.

Split Stay
Aug 23 -28 - 2C 10 day tix - $0, 2 A 10 day tix - $524.00, DDP 5 nights - $579.80
Aug 28 - Sept 2 - 2 C 2 day tix - $292, 2 A 2 day tix - $324, DDP 5 nights - $0, 1 photo memories book $99.95
Total = $1819.75

Were you planning on upgrading to the APs this trip? Annual passes will be $1908 I could be wrong, but I believe that you can take both sets of tix and put them towards the cost of the APs which would only leave you $290 to pay. If that's the case, the extra money for the tix would have been spent anyway when getting the APs. I would definately confirm if that's the case (that you can put both sets of tix toward the AP, and that the kids free tix count at face value toward the upgrade). If that's the case then I would say it's going to save you $479.85 to do the split stay.
