Should I rent a microwave?

A Baby's Best Friend has a microwave I can rent for $25, but I'm wondering if it is worth it. We have requested a fridge. We will have our own car and do plan on going to the grocery store. My kids, ds-7 and dd-18 months, love chicken nuggets, Easy Mac, hot dogs and it would be so much cheaper from the grocery store then the food court. We also plan on having at least one meal in the room...most days breakfast and dh loves those breakfast sandwiches. Would spending $25 for a microwave save me $25 in food from the food court? I know here at home we can't go without a microwave.

Also, ABBF wants you to spend at least $50 and I want to rent a rocking chair ($40) and so I need to come up with something else to rent and this just seems like the obvious choice. Are the rooms big enough at CSR to accomodate a rocking chair?

I know the food courts at the value resorts have toasters and microwaves you can use. Maybe the moderates do too? No sense in spending the $$ if you don't have to.

Where are you staying? Will you have room for the rocking chair?
Also can you rent a fridge from them instead of from disney to meet the $50.00 required amount?

They do have microwaves in the food courts at the value's but I am guessing that with a rocking chair you aren't going to be at a value resort.

There are also microwaves at the Moderates. And, a toaster oven type thing----looks like a smaller version of Burger King's grill (has a wire rack that moves continuously).

Plus, WDW is in the process of putting refrigerators in all the rooms.

I thought that we couldn't bring in cooking equipent to a resort hotel.. At least that is what I was told.. I would love to bring my microwave or George Forman.

Not to encourage cooking in the room - but did you know that you can BUY a microwave for under $30. I bought a no frills one to heat up water for tea at the office - I think it was $27 at Wal*Mart.

Cooking in the hotel rooms is discouraged because of the potential for fires and odors. Would you cook in your bedroom? Same difference. Use the microwaves and toasters in the food court, please.
