Should I let my DD3 do the Wonderland tea party?

Hey everybody got some questions about the Wonderland Tea Party.

My DD3 would be fine with the "kicking out of the adults". Could care less if a parent is in the room... Not shy at all. She is potty trained, and can eat her food. Here is the problem. She is only three by a few months. She is still learning to eat by herself---Makes a mess, and she is learning to use a cup under supervision--At resturants we still use old sippy. It saves the staff from cleaning up whatever she has to drink

So, What do you all think. This will be our last Disney trip for a few years, and I would love for her to get to go and have a blast. She has a sharp mind. Remembers stuff very well. I just dont know if they will let her knowing she has to use a sippy, and may make a mess with the food.

Help.... Tips....

My dd did this last year first time at 6 years and enjoyed it immensely. We have it planned again for this year. I'm not sure what the age for the tea party is, but 3 may be a little young (I think starting age is 4). Also, in fairness to some of the other guests, your dd may require a lot of attention. It is up to 10 years old so you probably will be back before that time.

It may be better suited for her when she is older, but why not try to make reservation and see if she's willing to go by herself? Cancellation is required more than 24 hours before or they charge your cc.

By the way, your dd is a CUTIE!!!!

they say as long as the child is potty trained they can go...............they do give u a beeper and you can have lunch at the grandfloridian resturant, its on the same floor as the tea party. I think she would absoulutely love it!
My DD (10) had gone this past Nov with her cousin who is 7 and i thought they were a little too old for it. Most of the kids were close to 4 or 5
take lots of pictures when you drop her off, They do take one polaroid of each child with Alice and the Mad Hatter (ours came out blurry) I did give my DD a disposable camera for them to take more pictures, but we havent finished the camera yet...........I think shes holding on to it, b/c its a disney princess camera! gl with whatever you decide!

As far as being messy, when my daughter went they had sandwiches and they frosted and decorated their own cupcakes with their fingers. It is a messy party anyway. DD said they gave them half cups of drink and they could get more. I say work on using a cup at home, take her to the potty before the party, then let her go and have fun.

i don't know if you are willing to pay the steep price of My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party but I took my 3 yr old and my 4 yr and they loved it. Many say that they may be too young but like yours, mine are pretty sharp and they really enjoyed the tea party. I cannot comment on The Wonderland Tea Party because I have not taken them but if it is anything like Perfectly Princess then I think she'll be fine!

I sent my 3 year old DS last time we went in November 2004. He had turned 3 in July and we went in November. However, I sent him with his big brother (who was 8). They do say 3 year olds if they are potty trained. However, my DS was drinking from a regular cup and didn't require any supervision while eating. I probably wouldn't send her -- especially alone and you can't stay. I would be afraid that she would take all of the CM's attention (I think there are only 3 for 14 kids) and would spoil the time for the rest. My boys did love it though -- so much that my 3 year old (who is now 4) is planning on going again in February!
