Should I hear from DVC?

I sent back my signed papers and payment about 1-2 weeks ago. Should I have heard anything from DVC or do they just call and let you know that you have closed? I'm kind of worried, I thought they would have at least called and said got your paperwork, this is what you can expect.

We did an add-on by mail several years ago. Just for my piece of mind, I called to make sure they received the papers after a week. It really never hurts to check - in case something DID happen to get lost (I guess they still use FedEx?) As good as the courier servies are, mistakes do happen.

Really, if this is your initial purchase, a Quality Assurance person should call (or maybe they called before you returned the papers?) to see if you had any questions.

We sent our check about 2 and a half weeks ago...And we just got our letter stating that the closing took place on 3/5 and that we should have our deed in about 90 days...We sent our check so we could track it and after we knew it was delivered we called and made sure they got it....

Why not call member services and give yourself some piece of mind? It does take a couple of weeks for them to get back with you and a quick call eliminates your fears. In the meantime, plan your first vacation...you can probably already make your reservations!

As I recall, my guide and the QA person from Disney both gave me a good idea of when to expect the closing. Did neither of them mention this?

Of course, I probably asked first, so it might not be part of their standard spiel.

Hi FredS, I read in my paperwork that the approximate closing date would be April 7. I haven't heard anything from my guide since I spoke with him in February and asked him to send me my contract. I have read in several places on this board that the actual closing takes place 15 days after you send your paperwork back. I sent mine on March 4. I just thought my guide or someone might call and check in with me. Maybe they don't do that??
