Hi everyone!

I am going to be going to Disney for my honeymoon. I am getting married in June, but I would be happy to wait until value season to go BUT DF is getting his teaching cert in May so if he gets a teaching position we HAVE to go in the summer. I'm thining of waiting to see if he does get a job, but I'm concerned that by the time he does it'll be too late to get any possible room-only discounts.

People in the teaching world tell me that most position get posted in April, so if there are a number of them I can just go ahead and book then.

BUT since I can cancel up to 5 days ahead do you think I should just go ahead and make a ressie for the week after my wedding (June 20-27)? And cancel if by then he doesn't get a position?

AHHHHH!!

:crazy2:

Can any of you help a confused girl out?

Thanks:bride:

I'd go ahead and book a room now, just so you will be sure you have a room in a resort you will be happy with, just in case no codes come out. That's what we are doing for June 3 - 11. And I've been checking different resorts for that same time period, and a lot of the less expensive, standard views are going fast. You can always cancel if your plans change or IF codes do come out you can get the new rate!!

I agree with ciera; get the hotel/room you really like reserved for the time period you want and then make changes as your fiance's job situation becomes clearer. If you wait too long, you may have to settle for your second or third choices (no fun if it's your honeymoon!!!). Good luck!

Thanks! I'll just have to make sure I get the CRO booking so I have til five days.

Congrats!!!!
o ahead and book. That seems to tbe the consensus on this board, and I view my Dis friends as experts.
Just watch the boards for the codes and try to apply the code as soon as it is posted.
Good luck!:earsgirl:
