We don't go until may. However I am worried about our adr window opening and not getting the ressies my daughter's are desperate for. I have been given 3 different dates by cm's with one saying my official date is 14 November however often they will be flexible and allow from a week earlier so what if I get a non flexible cm and don't get in?
It is the inconsistency bothering me. Also another cm said to have a chance of crt or bog we need to aim for the 2nd half of our trip. Staying onsite means when your window opens you can book for the 1st 10 days of your trip so often those locations sell out before my window would even open.
This is a holiday and I can't stop stressing over it!!

The CMs can't be flexible as the dates won't loaded on the system.

BOG I would aim for later in the trip as you can book 10 days at once.

CRT will not sell out before the 180 day mark.

I use the same calculator Lee posted the link for.

Sorry, hit submit too early can can't seem to get into the post to edit!

I do think you are stressing more than you need to. Make a note of what you want, choose a range of times that you are happy with in order of preference so that you don't have to dither about if you get to ADR day and your first choice is not available and for those must do restaurants, if you are are staying onsite, then book them first (I wasn;t clear from your mention of the 180 + 10 reference in your post if you are staying onsite or worried onsite guests will get all the ADRs).

I don't think you will have a problem with CRT. Worst case you may not get the time you want but it is not that difficult to get - at least not near as bad as it was when they only did breakfast as a character meal

That calculator is very helpful... though unfortunately, 180 days out falls during our holiday in Iceland! :(

I understand but try not to get too stressed and remember everything happens for a reason :thumbsup2 hopefully you'll get what you're after, there's always the chance of cancellations if you don't.

It's our first trip, we're going in May also but only there for 9 days so hoping we can get what we want too, I want bbb as dd will be 9 so really will likely be the only time she will do it. I intend to write out what my preferences are with some alternates so I have them ready.

The last time we went we went in May, we were staying offsite and I got all the ADR's that I wanted. Now granted BOG wasn't open but we got other sort after ADR's.

We are going again next May so I am patiently waiting for our window to open as well.

Enjoy Iceland! We love it there. Been before?

Sorry I know I'm going off topic!

We stayed onsite too and 180 +10 days out I tried to get a ressie for BOG and just couldn't. Every day I just kept trying and I think 3 days later I managed to get one with a time which suited (7pm), so don't get stressed. You will have a magical time at BOG - we went for our 21st wedding anniversary and we were given a rose serviette and a menu to keep by our server. Loved it.

Please dont worry too much about your ADR window. Your window will open (as others have said) 180 days before arrival, on that day you get the first 10 days of your stay.
My ADR open day was the 5th of May, I had my laptop on and hone ready (can book online 1hr before you can phone I noticed) so at 11am I refreshed my browser and I booked the ADRs that I knew would be tough to get otherwise (BoG).

I noticed that as all the windows open up for everyone globally at the same time, as we are ahead of the USA, by the time they had "woken" up, I had snagged 2 BoG, 1 Ohana and a CRT (which was later cancelled).

My advice: Prioritise which ADRs you want, get online and book them. Plan which days you want them, and a rough time and go for it.

Everything else will fall into place!

And above everything else, relax and enjoy!

Don't forget as from Nov 1st 2013 ALL ADR's need a credit card as security so that any no shows pay $10 per person

This will have a big impact on freeing up availablility as my understanding from various threads/forums is that many people book several ADRS for the same day so they can just choose once they are there. :confused3

I agree! I did a similar thing - I got all my ADRs but just had to be a little flexible with a couple. You will be fine! :thumbsup2

ok...

if there is one bit of advice that you really must take to heart it's this:

RELAX

if you don't, you are dooming yourself to disaster..

please don't set yourself up in advance for a horrible holiday..

whatever you get to do....do....whatever you don't get to do....well, it's something to look forward to next time..

WDW is massive...massive...massive....really huge...

there is no way you will EVER be able to do everything....certainly not in one trip and probably never unless you live across the street and go there every day..

really....you have to view it as the overall experience....

you never know what you're going to find..

an attraction might be closed for refurbishment or just be broken when you're there...

if there is a must must must that will destroy your whole holiday if you don't do it, you are setting yourself up for disappointment...

ok....i'll get off my soapbox now.. ;)
