Should I complain, or should I just ask for some cheese with my "whine"?

Yeah, it's freaky, definitely a bruise. I have a Consult in with the doc to discuss what was found. I'm going to just mention it to him. I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but dang, I don't think it had to hurt that much.

Wow, finally, someone who understands me!

Anytime I get an echo I cry. I find them so painful. I'm not skin and bones, but I don't have a lot of cushion. It feels like they're trying to squeeze that thing in between your ribs. -eek-

Of course they just say that if you don't stop fidgeting it will take longer, all threatening-like.

I'd tell on her, but I'm spiteful like that. :P

I've had 2 echos in my life. First was about 15 years ago and it really hurt.
Last one was about 2 years ago and didn't hurt at all. The last one was a pre-op test for my gastric bypass. Obviously I was substantially overweight. The woman had no issue at all getting a clear read with absolutely no pain or pressure.

I would speak to your doctor about it. There's no need for bruising.

Glad I didn't read this before I had mine done. I am skinny and had no pain at all. Guess everyone is different. OP, I hope the results are good.:thumbsup2

It's just to see what's going on with the whole marfan's thing. My sons have internal and external characteristics, including aortal enlargement and i have a few external. So, we're trying to get all the info before the genetic testing.
