If a FL Resident Rate becomes available we (8 family members, 3 rooms) want to stay at Wilderness Lodge in October. If there isn't a discount we want to stay at POP. I'd like to book the rooms now. Any suggestions on what to do?

The Cast Members are taught to look out for this and will not book it. The act will take away the rooms from someone else who can confirm at that resort.

Best bet, Book the Pop Century as it may fill up quickly and then if the rates come out, switch over to Wilderness Lodge.

Good Luck.

Book the room you can stay with with no discount.

By booking a room that you can only stay in if there is a discount will actually lessen the chance that there is a discount. Since in most cases discounts are offered when occupancy is down. Also having the room booked does not mean you will be able to get the discounted room if / when they are released.

Someone on here once posted (within the last two months) that they booked two resorts for the same time period and Disney took it upon themselves to cancel one of the reservations....it happened to be the one they wanted/needed and were stuck. I would suggest as the others have...book the one you know you can stay at and just watch the discount codes, as soon as they are (if at all) released, then try to get the other resort.

Good Luck!!! :wave2:

the system will bump it out...that is what CRO told me

Thanks everyone! Glad I asked before I did anything.
