I hope something positive comes out of the police visit. Also please know you are not being rude by not answering someone...If he ever asks you again how you are..."Leave me alone creep" is the phrase you need to say. ALso never walk home...walk to a public place, or neighbors house and call the police.
What does my age and height have to do with this ? I was upset and just wanted to get opinions and I thought maybe someone on these boards might give me advice that I did not think of. Also I did tell my mom and my sister but they are the only people in my family that I want to tell. Also I did not tell my sister everything.
Just because I am 6 foot 3 well that does not mean my mind is going to get over this any faster if I was like 5 foot 3 > My mind has never really got over what happend to me back in Jan 10th. And when I saw that guy a couple days ago that did not help me mind. So my height has nothing to do with my mind. Also just because I am a male that does not mean much either. Lets say I was a female and this happend to me well that would not make it worse.
Being 29 might help a little bit. I mean lets say I was 8 years old and this guy came after me, well that would be worse. So yes maybe age will help a little bit, but age is about the only thing that helped. But even though I am 29 years old my mind still went into shock when this guy attacked me on Jan 10th > So please don't pass judgement on me just because I am a 29 year old 6 foot 3 male !!!!
Anyways, FC glad to hear you phoned the police, I agree that he is trying to intimidate you----glad you were "strong" enough to just say "fine" and continue on!

I wouldn't speak to him at all. It may be a person just hell bent on harming someone (you) or it may be a person hell bent on stalking you. If it is a stalker, any amount of contact you have with him will be taken by him as a positive. Don't acknowledge him. If he confronts you, simply say you don't want to speak to him.
I meant advise him. They know the facts. People can be mistaken, Flowerschild called the police once before on an innocent man. Let's face it we are all strangers here. I don't think police matters should be decided by strangers. I am surprised no one suggested he confide in family and see if they think he should notify the authorities. They have all the facts, we have zero. That's not rude, its common sense.

I never called the police on an innocent man. There was a guy who came into the store and I thought that it might be him. But it turned out to be the manager of Wendy's. I told my managers that I thought it might be him, but I did not ask them to call the police.
If I am at work and I see someone who might be the man who attacked me my managers want me to point that person out to them so they can keep an eye on that person. But this does not mean the managers are going to say anything to that person or call the cops on that person.
