Should I be concerned?

I just completed a VB reservation for 4th of July week. I called day by day at the seven month window. The first night is a separate confirmation number than the rest of the week. I was told they have cross referenced the two confirmations and I shouldn't have to move into another room or recheck-in. I have never had this happen. I have called before day by day for holiday weeks and never have I had separate confirmation numbers, they have always just added the nights onto the same confirmation number. Oddly enough, the other nights I added at VB were added on to the second confirmation number I was given. Why could they do that, but not for the first night I booked?

I'm really concerned we are gonna have to move. It is a 2 bedroom lockoff I have booked and I'm taking my parents down with us.

Thoughts?

On a similar topic, when I called to make the first night reservation I was told there were no 2 bedrooms available that week at VB. I hung up and called my Mom who asked me to try for two studios instead. I called back and they told me there was 2 bedrooms available all week (although lockoffs) and they didn't know why I was told otherwise. Weird.

I wouldn't be concerned. We've had several reservations when more than one confirmation number was used. MS linked all of the reservations together and we've never had to move mid stay.

You'll get a better idea when you receive the confirmation. If all of the days in the size villa you need are listed on one confirmation letter with the correct number of points used I wouldn't worry about it at all.

With respect to availability...well it can change at any time even while on the phone with MS. Sure it's possible that MS made a mistake on your first call but who's to know.

Have a great vacation.
