Should I bathe regularly?

All I came on here for was to be convinced to bathe and use soap and you people have turned it into a mockery. NOT everyone knows when to bathe and the like, they come on here to ask legitimate questions and you snarky people ruin it. Have a nice day.

I would never use soap. They harm trees while making it, you know. Also, those soap factory workers go camping and hang their underwear from trees and endanger the vegetation even more. Also, none of those soap-makers ever asked for advice from the true experts at rv.net.

Nope, I'll never use soap.

I was a jerk on the camping thread. Oh and I am over 15!

I've been using soap for 56 years and IMO, in order to benefit from the full effect of soap you must use water, IMO. Let me tell you about my soap modifications. I find that if you collect soap left in public showers (aka frankensoap), place them in the top of a double boiler, heat the water to no more than 192 degrees fahrenheit, let steep for exactly 17.5 minutes, remove from heat and immediately pour melted frankensoap (pour thru a sieve to make sure all the hair is removed) into muffin tins lined with cupcake wrappers (aluminum are best and instead of buying them you can save $1.92 by making your own) then you will have the best of all soaps in one convenient Reese Cup shaped bar. IMO. I step up my soap mods by adding essential oil to each batch for that "Fresh as the Morning Dew" aroma.

I usually melt mine into log shapes and dye them brown, Then I leave the lying on the shower floors, then wait outside and watch everyone run screaming out of the shower house yelling "Dooty, dooty"! :)

I've been a jerk pretty much for the last 43 years, on and off the campng board..... top that..

btw I like your photo. I gave that to a friend of mine in NJ who is a FF>

I am offended. No one has used my suggestion of urinal mints. They are a valuable source of cleanliness.:headache:

Here is my problem with soap. I've got an addiction to the soap they sell at the Canadian pavilon at EP. You can get it many places. I prefer Dog Team Drool or Sasquach Sweat. I know, I know. With names like this would wouldn't become addicted. The stuff is expensive and every time I go there I come home with bunches of it. Then the question is do you use it and wash the money down the drain or look at it and remember the trip. I guess it all goes back to OP about convince me to use it. I only have 2 bars left and 3 months before I come back.

Sounds like it is time to start saving it for special occasions. Should we start calling you "notsofreshlybarked"?

sounds to me like you are a little ruff around the edges.

I'm good to go as long as my 2 bars last. After that....not so freshly barked.

How much soap do you us Mr. Wasteful, 3 months to go, 2 bars now thats 12 maybe 13 Saturday baths, I see no reason it shouldn't last and have some left over.

Not only does the hair act as a natural binder, but if theres enough hair, it also surfice as a loofah. :thumbsup2

Do you know any CM Fiends, that can get it for you at a discount?

No bathing at the Fort.

IMO, you are only wasting water that does not belong to you. Then you will have to hang a towel on a clothesline that will damage the bark on trees that do not belong to you. It's just not right....and it's tacky. JMHO. ;)
