We are going April 26 - May 3 - staying at POR. Is it worth it to buy an AP and use the room discount? What are prices at AKL?
Thanks

It may only a good deal if your dates are available with the AP discount. Only a certain number of AP rates are available at each resort. We are doing three trips with in one calendar year and got AP rates for the BC for our April tri[p so it was worth the price of the pass for us.

The AP rate for the Standard view room for your date is
2 nights at $214 and the rest at $164.

If you call CRO they can give you the exact break down on price of room and APs. A nice perk is that DP is now availabe to AP holders. This is new.

Good luck! :)

Who's in your party? If you're only taking this one trip, I would probably skip the AP. Use AAA instead.

It is me, DH, and DD age 2 - so she is free. We were hoping for a discount code, tried ording the DVD, signing up on line, providing email address and no luck. Thanks for your help.

just by experience having one last year, if you plan on going more than one trip in one year it is worth it. but like the poster said before they only have so many rooms for ap holders. i always booked my rooms way in advance and then come time to apply the ap codes they didn't have anymore available. the best room rate i ever received was with the 40% code and it was pop for $49 a night.
good luck!

We are taking two trips this year but have chosen not to get APs. Instead, I am buying us both 10day park hoppers - so that's 10 park days and 10 water park days that I can use forever. That's 20 total if we do one or the other a day. So even though we'll use 7-8 of our days this year, I can save the rest for next year or the next. 10-dayers and AP are about the same price (I think APs are a bit more).

So AP is not always the best choice - it really depends on the AP discount 9which can be great if you like staying deluxe!) and your touring habits.
