Shorts or long pants weather right now?

For anyone at WDW on in the area right now, is it warm enough for shorts all day, or is it more like long pants weather? We will be at WDW March 8-15 (yay!), and the weather forecasts are showing daily temp fluctuations between the 50s and 80s. I'm unsure about what to pack since shorts might be fine if it will only be in the 50s overnight and in the very early morning hours, but we might be too cold in shorts if it stays that cool all morning.

We live in Houston, so warm weather is the norm for us, and 50s is chilly!

I went last year (and the year before) where it was chilly in the morning and warmed up as the day went on. I was fine in shorts/capris, but I brought a zip up sweatshirt with me.

Our dates are almost the same (arriving a few days earlier, checkout the same day) and we are also from the Houston area. We are packing both shorts and long pants just to give ourselves the option. Since both DW and I wear long pants for work almost every day we know we will be comfortable in those but we also take midday breaks so maybe we start with one and end with the other? Who knows, it's always a wildcard at this time of year going to Disney, having done Spring Break trips on numerous occasions. Like the previous poster mentioned we also make a point to bring a light jacket, too, just in case.

I think I've decided to pack a couple more pairs of long pants. It was 52 degrees here this morning, and I was pretty cold. I wouldn't want to walk around in shorts all morning feeling like that! You're right about this time of year being a wild card as far as weather. I have pictures from a trip this time of year back when our oldest kids were little, and we were wearing knit Mickey hats and gloves that we had to buy at a gift stand because it turned out to be much colder than anticipated!
