Short notice brain mush

I'm appealing to all you more experienced travellers to help me.
I've just been told I'm off to Orlando (off-property but near Disney) in less than a week.
I've just sorted ESTAs and checked travel insurance is up to date.
What else do I need to do? My brain is still spinning from the surprise!
What is the weather likely to be?
So many questions that I don't even know what to ask. Please just add anything you think might be useful.

Are you planning on going to Disney at all? If so you need to try and book some fastpasses online and - if you want to eat on site - make some ADRs.
Hit the online touring plans to fidn the best days to do each park.
Get some currency? Let your banks know that you will be using your cards abroad.
Other than that find your plug adaptors so you can charge your phone / camera!
I just got back Saturday - still boiling hot during the day but I needed a light cardy at night. Of course, that also goes for me in July because of the stupid air-con everywhere!

Think of things to do Away from Disney.

Airboat Rides .. Pontoon Boat Trips. Picking Fruit ..... Kennedy Space Center ...

If you are willing to drive ... there are many wonderful National / State parks to visit .

Thanks for the help, i have delegated currency and tech to DH.
I haven't got the park ticket details yet so i've accepted that i most likely won't get the hard to get fast passes but since i didn't even expect to be going at all, I'll take whatever i can get. I also can't get the couple of ADRs that I wanted, fingers crossed for cancellations or pixie dust!!
I still need to do API's - thanks for the reminder!
I am definitely looking for things to do outside Disney, specifically less expensive things!
