Shopping the Day After Thanksgiving

I wasn't really sure where to post this and although I didn't think the DVC section was the best place I didn't see a "regular" section that was a good fit either. Since so many DVCers go so often, I thought someone would be able to offer information.

My family is going to be in Daytona for Thanksgiving Week this year for a Cheerleading Competition for our DD. Although I am the trip coordinator for the event so I have to make sure I can get away for the better part of a day. However if I can, we would like to get up early and drive to DTD on Friday. Just wondering if the stores there doing anything different for Black Friday or have different hours than normal. It sounds like such a fun thing to do and wanted to know if anyone has done it before and could offer any advice or experience.

I've been there several times on Black Friday. Unfortunately, there's no special sales going on.

You might want to take a ride to the outlets that are close by. They should have BF sales.
