shopping for clothes in the south

So we are going to be moving to Tampa this spring from Ohio. Yeah for being closer to Disney!!! I was shopping for summer clothes for my kids when I started thinking about Tampa weather. I'm going to not only need warm weather clothes for the summer months, but also for the winter months. (my son is 3 months so he's still in new clothes every few months) Should I buy him stuff now while spring/summer stuff is out, or do stores stock swim/shorts/tshirts year round in the south?

Depending on how he is growing, I would say yes get his a 3/6months clothes. Another idea would be is to buy the one piece rompers.

He's in 3-6 now and so I've been getting him 6-12 to wear this summer and early fall. But I 'm guessing that living in Tampa he'll probably need warm weather clothing in 12-18 for Oct-April too. Just not sure if I need to buy in advance or if I can still get my hands on that stuff when up here in the north at that time there is not a swimsuit or pair of shorts in sight.

I lived in Cbus for 4 years going to OSU. I'll miss going to games and I was sad the other day playing in the snow with DD knowing it will be a long time before she gets to do that again.

When you shop, just remember that there are tools to help you save money. Discount coupons in many establishments are what you need in shopping. Imagine, one discount coupon allows you to save a big amount of cash already. Seriously, you wouldn't want to miss out on that.
As a shopper, I try to find coupons so that my money will be saved and not put into waste

We live in WPB and yes, I am able to buy shorts and swim suits all year. I will say, it is nice that the kids are in shorts most of the year. It is so difficult buying pants the right length, with shorts it does not matter if they grow a bit. With pants, if I get buy a length that fits in the fall, by Jan/Feb they are too short.

I am in NWFL and we can buy summer clothes all year round, so you should have no problem. I say if you find a good deal go ahead and pick it up, if not, you can get things year round here! Welcome to Florida!
