ShopDisney returns at DS?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I wasn't sure the best place to post!

Can you return merchandise purchased online from ShopDisney at the parks or World of Disney in person? We don't have a regular Disney store anywhere near us but have a trip to WDW coming up before the holiday return window closes, and I was hoping to do an exchange (ordered some The Child Crocs for DH and they are the wrong size). I did read the return policy online but wasn't 100% sure if the retail locations around the parks were the same as "Disney stores" (maybe a dumb question tho!)

I don't think they are. I think the only stuff you can return within the parks is stuff bought at the parks. Best would be to call and ask.

I also say this as while Disney gc can generally be used for anything there are some that are only good at the Disney store and you can't use them for any park stuff.

Retail locations at/near parks are not Disney stores. You have to find one in a mall

I don't know about WOD in DS, but I recently was able to exchange something at WOD in DTD. The CM told me that normally they do take returns from Shop Disney, but not now (and she had no idea when it would be allowed again). Currently, all Shop Disney returns must go to Disney Stores, e.g. in the mall. But, since all the Disney Stores near me are not easy to access right now, she let me speak with a manager who did allow me to make the exchange since the merchandise in question was in stock and there was no price difference. YMMV. It can't hurt to ask at WOD, but your best bet would be to try the exchange online or at a Disney Store (if you end up traveling and find one).

Yes, they were from the Make a Wish True Blue collection -- so they were sold online and at WOD.

I think that type of return might be different than something sold only at The Disney Store / Shop Disney. But, who knows unless one tries OP!

At first, the CM said the rule was that they could not accept any returns/exchanges from Shop Disney for the time being. But the manager said that because the county rules meant that I couldn't easily access a physical Disney Store, it would be okay to make an exception. I consider it pixie dust. Like I said to the OP, it can't hurt to ask, but the better option would be to go first to an actual Disney Store or to contact Shop Disney.
