Shipwreck Cove Snorkel Tour

has anyone does this excursion on the magic? is there lots of fish and is there a change of sharks? also can i use my own snokel gear? thanks

Hi...went on the shipwreck cove excursion in April of 2002 and would not recommend it. The water was really churned up and we did not see many fish and the ones we did see were not the beautiful colorful fish we had expected. My girls had more fun jumping off the boat into the water than snorkeling!!

My 23yoDD went on this excursion June 2003 and still can't stop talking about how great it was!! She loved it so much that on our 2-28-04 Magic cruise, several of us are going to give it a try.

Her underwater pictures are even very clear!! I'm not sure why she had a different experience than previous poster but I'm willing to give it a try.

Any water experience in the Caribbean has got to be better than our 60 degree H2O up here(that's in August)!!!
