I wanted to have a package shipped to Pop so its there when we arrive. Basically diapers, wipes, etc. Stuff I don't want to lug on the plane. Has anyone had issues with packages being lost by the resort? I would really hate to have them lose our diapers and have to pay resort prices to replace them. Thanks so much!!

Last summer I shipped a box to the Wilderness Lodge by UPS. It contained several beach towels, rain ponchos, hangers (never enough in the rooms), sunscreen, some juice boxes, etc. It was all packed in there very well, and protected around by the towels. I shipped it on Tuesday, tracked it daily, it arrived on Friday morning. On Friday afternoon I called the Lodge, and they confirmed that they had it and it was being held for our arrival on Sunday afternoon. When we checked in, we told the desk about it, and it was delivered to our room within the hour. I will definitely do it again - especially as much space as beach towels take up in a suitcase, and the fact that airlines are limiting baggage.

Has anyone used this service? My niece is going to Disney next week. Her youngest is 13 months and it seems that ordering diapers through Garden Grocer would simplify the packing. Disney prices would be very high.

She was also thinking of ordering juice boxes and snacks for her 6 and 4 year olds.

love garden grocer

they deliver to the resort directly
use the street address not the po box

Anyone know how you can ship stuff back home?:confused3 Thanks!!!:goodvibes

I just used the same box that I had shipped down there in, put everything in, requested a roll of tape from the Concierge desk and taped it up. The desk then gave me a pre-printed form to fill out with the address I wanted to ship it to (apparently this is something that is done quite often!) and handed it all back to the desk. The package arrived at home 3-4 days later. Now I'm not sure what they do for the shipping charges, because I shipped mine via UPS using my account # from work - but I assume they would just add them to your card/room and you would pay for them then.

I too shipped my luggage to the resort and then back home again. I used the same box. I had put a roll of packing tape in the box that had just a little bit left on it and a pre addressed label before I sent it down so I would be set to pack it all up the night before we left WDW. I brought it down to the front desk - they weighed it, and I asked it to be shipped UPS and that the charges be added to my room bill - no problem. I did bring it all the night before when I noticed that they were not very busy at the front desk. Easier on my and them. Plus the charges then were on my express checkout bill. It worked really slick.

You can also open an account on www.ups.com and create your return label before you leave. You can still drop it off at the front desk and they'll give it to UPS, just remind them that it is prepaid.
