I agree. I used to watch a fair amount of TLC, now if I watch 1 hour a month that's a lot. The shows they are rolling out just seem bizarre.

The one that kills me is "Sex Sent Me to the ER". One time my curiosity got the better of me - I thought that no way could a whole show be dedicated to people who've injured themselves while getting busy. I thought there had to be more to it.

Nope, that's it. It was so weird. I only watched about 10 minutes before I bailed.

I agree. Who on earth would want to admit they injured themselves whilst having sex? Who came up with that show idea?

And it's freaky how close the actors look like the people who actually had it happened to them. TLC plays some weird crazy shows. I will only watch if there is nothing else on.

I sometimes wonder how the heck they come up with these show ideas. Reading one of those trashy magazines like Hello! in the UK? I sometimes wonder about their sanity...

Don't forget about the show with the cougars. They just had reruns on this week in our area.

I loved watching Jon & Kate plus 8 in the early years. But as the show gained popularity Kate got to be nasty and then they moved and it just totally went down hill from there.

I do enjoy watching the Little Couple. They are so sweet and never complain about the lot in life they were dealt.

Except the Little Couple and the wedding shows I don't really watch anything on TLC anymore.

Really, a funeral? One life event I never thought would be the subject for a reality show.

Not the first reality show about funerals. At one time there was a reality show that focused on the day to day happenings in a funeral home - it was either the largest individual funeral home or part of the largest chain of funeral homes (I can't remember it was so long ago). Followed the employees around. Showed them talking with families, making arrangements to move bodies around, offloading shipments of caskets, getting the limos and hearses ready and what they did at the actual wakes, memorials and funerals. Lasted a couple of years. I can't remember if it was on TLC or a different channel. It was a daytime show that aired probably 6 or 7 years ago.

I can't stand her, so I won't be watching. That is, I don't plan on watching, but I might be too tempted to see just how bad she'll get!

I don't watch much of TLC, anyway. I like the Duggars (19 Kids and Counting), the Little Couple, and the wedding shows (Say Yes to the Dress, Four Weddings, etc.). TLC occasionally air those crime documentaries/stories (48 Hours, Dateline, etc.) late at night on the weekends, so I will watch those when they're on. Everything else isn't worth watching or is plain trash.

Me too I made it up to the I give my kids phones so I can take them away as punishment then went to bed. I was watching with my teen who couldn't get past the plastic surgery(did she have some?) and hair extensions.

I had recorded it, just finished watching (don't think badly of me, I am 1 week post-op and have been stuck at home all week, Dr. says I can drive tomorrow if I feel like it )

Anyways....just had to post this because I thought it was funny. DS (12yr) walked in when I was watching, I didn't say a word and he has never heard me say anything about Kate.

After he sat for a few minutes he said "she is a bad mom". My son hardly ever says anything negative about anyone, he is such a tenderhearted person. So for him to say that, was like, wow!

I think the kids are still cute and I think Mady needs help, jmo

Yep, Mady is still a train wreck. The attitude she has is totally unacceptable! But, I feel like she's just like Kate is. I hope one day she feels like she's good enough and that she becomes a successful human being.

The rest of the kids are still the same, IMO.

I am not sure I have ever made it through a full episode. I tried to watch it twice and had to turn away. She was a horrible person. She is so full of herself and treated her husband so horribly.

I watched her show with her husband and all the kids...ONCE...the kids were constantly screaming and crying and I wasn't going to put up with that crap on TV. Once was enough!

I did see her and her kids again when they were on Sarah Palin's show, camping out in Alaska. It was interesting.

I was surprised to see Jon in a few clips. she also mentioned she gave Jon the van to transport the kids. M I also heard her mention that the kids were away this weekend. I think she tried to squash some rumors that J on never sees the kids.

Since I posted last, I thought I would just add to this post.

Wow how scary with that hail storm. I thought the bus the kids were on could of been in the middle of that storm, but it looked like they missed it too.
