After living with ... um... her for almost 12 years, we find out today that our sweet little girly cat is a ... BOY??
Seriously. Our vet had declared her a she. Seemed obvious to me that she was a she.
She's gone to live with my parents (and ... she.. is much happier there) and they take her to the vet today only to find out that she is a HE!
And only an X-Ray revealed this fact. Something about clamps. Clamps? No wonder she (he) was so grumpy all of the time.
And I can't seem to be able to call "her" a "him," or "she" a "he"... it just seems so weird.
Anyone ever have such a case of mistaken identity?? I've had this happen with a guinea pig, and a cockatiel once... but never a kitty??

We just said she was gender confused and kept on calling her a girl.
Good thing they had names that could pretty much go either way.
