Me too...bookgirl must be 16!

I've been 16 2 and 1/2 times LOL.

NOT a writer, the writers always tell you first thing so that you can get as much stuff as possible for them, she loved telling me about how they were converting to Hinduism.

The little old lady fits her perfectly, I don't think she's any older than 60-65 but she fits the sterotype in looks. Personally I don't see why people get so up in arms about the term old. I'm perfectly fine calling myself middle aged, duh because I AM. When I hit mid 50's to 65 I"m going to be old. Not in mind and probably not in action, but physically I'm going to be part of the older generation. Average life expectacy in the US is 83 (24th in the world by the way), what do you consider old 82?

I'm actually cracking myself up how worried people are that I described this woman who looks like the proverbial little old lady down the street, than the fact that she's studing caniblism and crime scene clean up

I love my job.

(for the record ave age is 79 but if you break it down to just women it's 83)

I was thinking the same thing since I am in that age group and I don't think of myself as a "little old lady type" at all!

Who was worried? I thought it was funny. I'm 37 myself, but my oldest sister is 47. I don't see her as 3 yrs from being a "little old lady." No need for a lecture.

When I was 52yrs I was still working 12 hour days 6 and 7 days a week, lifting 26lb parts, and on my feet all day, only got to sit down on 2 -22 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch.

Now i'm 55 and retired. So I guess that makes me an old retired lady.

Well how about the sweet little old man in our subdivision? He was in his 70s and loved golf. When my son was about 12 Mr. Golfer started teaching him to putt and even gave him a putter. Then he loaned my son a golf video to watch. He didn't really want to watch it but I told him to at least give it a try. Well, he came in and said I think that tape is wrong. I asked what was wrong with it. He said it was a bunch of naked people on it. I thought he must be mistaken in some way. Mr. Golfer was such a sweet old man. I put the tape in our VCR and sure enough it was porn. We just put it back in the box and I told him to take it back and thank him. We never heard if Mr. Golfer ever realized what was on the tape.
