I actually got the laundry under control yesterday
washed dried folded and put away three loads

usually I leave a load in the dryer for days
unmotivated

I still have more laundry to do when I get back.

I'm going to leave for a bit.

Probably pick up DD from work. She could wait 1/2 hour for a bus and then she has to transfer for another, with another possible 1/2 hour wait. Weekends!

I have to go in to the office tomorrow so getting the laundry completely done is a big one for me. Normally I would leave some in the dryer too knowing that I will be home all day to take care of it.

I did see the meter fairy and I think you are right, *******. We had a guy from some where down south in Ohio that was arrested for feeding meters. He was retired and would go out and look for meters that were about to expire. He had several warning and I do believe he ended up spending time in jail over it. UNREAL

Was40, so glad hear the eye is somewhat better today. I broke my cheek bone last year and it took FOREVER for it heal. Thank goodness for makeup

DS has been asking for contacts for the last year. He just had his eyes checked last week. He wears bifocals, so it's a bit more difficult, though there are contacts out there for him.

DH and I both wear glasses so we are just not used to the idea.

I have also thought about contacts but I think I will use glasses.

I just read in the newspaper
that a man in Sandusky Ohio
was arrested for cutting grass (that was a foot tall)
in a city park
and for refusing to quit cleaning up the garbage
that hadn't been picked up


he was charged with refusal to desist or some such bizarro thing

he said he was just trying to make his city nice
and the city said budget cuts
are making it hard to keep up with the garbage and grass at the park

Why can't the city appreciate it?

We are lucky Walmart is open
they are not even 24 hour stores around me
