palmtreegirl I wish that was the case but it isn't. Darlene should get a new car for all the thankless things she has done. Not only does she care for Madison and Faith, but is sometimes the only person who takes her Grandparents to the doctor and shopping. I hope to get more attention to her so maybe she will have the car she needs to continue being the provider she is. I just got off the phone with her and supposelly 107.1 in Melbourne has interviewed them. More updates as they come.

Well I just got a call from Darlene she's in high spirits being interviewed by Baseball America, channel 6( air anytime between 5:00pm and 6:15pm). I am going to start e-mail other media outlets to let them know about this, and hopeful this will have a happy ending. Also I read the post to her when she calls, and thanks for the support.

I too am cheering her on yet can't get over the fact that it is a USED Geo Metro!! Like palmtreegirl posted, I hope there is a twist at the end of all of this. I know she does not care, any car is better than no car, but she deserves more!

Now how about the guy who his wife is due any day now! I don't know what I would do if I was his wife, but I don't know if I would really want him missing the birth when he may not win! (and we all know he won't because Darlene will!!)

I also think the girl who already left was just a filler. She works for the team and therefor should not be allowed to win. I am thinking that someone droped out at the last minute and they really wanted to start with 5 people.
