Great start to your TR! I headed over once I saw your comment on mine- and Im so glad I did!! Youre all in for such a fantastic trip - Im jealous of the friends-adventure style!

It's going to be explosive that's for sure! I hope that I can take half as beautiful pictures as you have with yours. I love detail shots and textures on film. My grandfather taught me everything I know and he's a landscape man, I guess it's hereditary!

Is your sanity slipping slowly day by day?! Because I know mine certainly is. I can't count how many times I listen to MK Rope Drop and end the song in a fit of giggles.

We've pretty much decided that the number of days left til we leave are the points of sanity we have left and our sanity is slowly dying and when day 0 hits our minds are going to go kaboom! XD I know I personally can't stop listening to the main street welcome medly, and the illuminations music. Plus, if I'm in big study modes (aka now) I put on the DisRadio XD I keep getting more and more excited!!

I believe today our counter hits 1month 1week and 1day!! She's wrong, it's tomorrow!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY! I know what happened. I worked today...I thought it was Monday XD also...I promise readers we are truly more than one person, not one person with multiple personalities XD

Today we are 1 month, 1 week and 1 day away from the Lion King on Broadway in Toronto and the official start of our big, fat glittery trip!

I haven't checked (or obsessively called my house) to check for Mickey Mail yet, but I did get a chance to upload one of our test videos from this weekend.

Saturday we went to celebrate Purple Day with the lovely folks at Futurecon a convention with a heart who's main charity is Epilepsy Toronto. So we loaded everyone into Tux's car (good ol'Annie who DOESN'T get to go to Disney) and drove up to the afternoon tea. Chibi brought her favorite pre-Disney purchase a Kodak Playsport and tested it out to see how well it would hold up to our high pitched voices!

We present to you "Mickey" "Mickey" "Oh God!" Please turn your sound up for the full effect!*

*Please note, Megpie has been in deep school freeze and didn't realize how insane Jayuna had become in relation to the Disney trip. She also had never heard the Magic Kingdom Rope Drop song. AND she, Chibi and Jayuna are terrified of the prospect of a talking Mickey coming anywhere near them at WDW. Edit by Jay: Megpie was singing along with the Zip-a-dee-do-da portion of the Rope Drop Song though! But she did seem a bit freaked with how the rest of us knew all the words to the song XD

On a final note, if anyone could tell me how to make shiny chapters, I think we're gonna need them

On a side note I am so far impressed with the quality of video, not super shiny fantabulous.... but decent enough that I am happy considering what I paid for it. It IS pretty good. We are going to have so much fun with this one >D

Hi everyone! It's Jay here Coming to you on day Fantasia 2000 til Lion King!

I'm just creating my own post here to let you guys know of a personal milestone that's passed on my countdown to WDW!

Up here, I study Molecular Biology and Genetics at a relatively local university to everyone, and I'm completing my third year. When we initially booked the trip in December, a big part of my countdown was getting through second term! As I'm deep into hardcore science, I'll mostly get lab reports and "midterms" during the term rather than papers.

I say "midterms" because I've never had a class where my midterm was really just a midterm! According to my calender, my first "midterm" was on January 27th, and I just ended them.... YESTERDAY! Most classes have at least two or three, so it's a big thing to get through!

There are still a couple days of classes left, but now that this midterm was over, I'm done studying until finals! And the last midterm at school means I'm just a little bit closer to GLITTER! So excited!!!

I'm sure it will, but oh boy does it still seem so far away~!! I know I still have finals to get through, which makes it seem futher away >.> But we're getting closer every day!!!

And it definitely will! Even if the package itself isn't too glittery, oh boy will we make it! I'm still so excited for when it shows up since that means it's a lot more real, I guess? Having all that stuff suddenly physical and in our hands means this is actually happening!

A only mildly Glittery Update from Chibi:

A video came through on the phone today from Malkin, it APPEARS that our Mickey Mail has arrived! We can't confirm since we have forbidden Malkin to open it without us. Though just the thought of Mickey Mail arriving has not only made this seem that much more real, but Tux is now (and I quote) "Broken and cannot get up" and one half of Maki has exploded into squees and caps lock.

We're getting together this weekend (so I can sweatshop through the last of the Gothel and Rapunzel Costumes) so videos and glitter will ensue!

You must be psychic! I went down to get the mail a second time today (the first time from our mailbox, the second because I felt like the concierge in my condo hadn't put the parcel slips out yet) and there it was! MICKEY MAIL!

Which leads me to my next question. Our Mickey Mail was a think UPS envelope with the address of the Magical Express. We booked the whole trip (room, tickets, flight and dining) through Disney. Is this it? Just from Magical Express? It shakes and sounds like it has tags inside.

I would just open it, but if I did the rest of the gang would kill me. We've called an "emergency" meeting tomorrow to open it but the next several hours will be killer! It's just sitting there, TAUNTING ME!

Hahaha, yea, we've gone a little bit crazy with all this going on, but it's awesome! =D There are now 36 days until our sanity disappears completely XD Our eventual TR is going to be epic!

And I believe we're all going to be there! ^^ Woo! Possibly expect it!
We'll be at Astra in Disney costumes, how's that for obsession (it's entirely unrelated to the trip...kinda) We'll make sure to find you if nothing else to pixie dust you!

Hi everyone! This is Jay here again! =D I'm a going to let you guys know what happened yesterday, aka MICKEY MAIL DAY. Chibi and Malkin are currently indisposed creating what is appearing to be a rather interesting craft project.

So, me and Chibi were greeted on Thursday with a picture and a video saying that our Mickey Mail had arrived!!! Immediate plans were made to meet on Friday to open it and explode magical confetti/glitter cannons! There were a couple hiccups in actually getting everyone over to Malkin's, but all was worked out in the end =)

We were all up in Malkin's condo, and once Megpie arrived, one suprise was unleashed! Chibi and Malkin had been teasing me for WEEKS about this one thing they supposedly bought as a present for me/megpie. They even supposedly bought it right in front of me while I wasn't paying attention ^.^" They brought it out, covered mine and megpie's eyes, and i heard clinking of things down on the floor. They uncovered our eyes, and there were DISNEY PINS all over the floor!!!! =D 100 to be exact! I'm a huge fan of collecting buttons here at home, and my friends figured that I'd latch onto pin trading like no tomorrow, and thus bought us all pins to bring with us initially! Needless to say, I loved it and I'm so excited to start pin trading

After that, we headed down to the park by Malkin's complex with her Dad ready to open our Mickey Mail and explode the confetti/glitter cannons. Chibi and tux's worked, but mine and Megpie's didn't which led to a lot of laughing and why the heck wasn't it working Megpies got eventually, but mine ended up never working, and we ended up just poking a hole in the top of mine and throwing the coloured pieces of awesome in the air ourselves. Sadly no video was ended up taken as the wrong button was pressed and we got nothing, but we might end up having a mickey mail 2.0 at some time, so possibly one more chance to get it down <3

After that, we went inside (it's still kind of cold here) and actually looked inside. I was so excited to see our names on our tags and all our fligt information listed. We're so close now!!!! I can't wait! =D

I too have a huge pile of pins to take with us for trading. I selfishly hoarded the pack of 80 or so pins so I could pick out my absolute favs, then I sat down with DD (7) and let her pick out some. DH is not so into pin trading, though he did pick out three that he will keep, not trade. he is a secret trader....he eyes a pin on a castmembers lanyard, then gets me to trade while he acts annoyed and uninterested

Chibi Here Reporting in! Its been a rather uneventful day so far... Malkin and I have been spending most of the day (with on and off help from Megpie/Jayuna) on our craft project Jayuna mentioned in her Mickey Mail Post.

So here I am, completely unrelated to the PTR but still amazingly awesome picture of what the amazing craft project is.

Hopefully our Mickey Mail will be here by Friday so I can take it with us this weekend as we debut our Tangled costumes on what will officially be 1 Month to the Beach Club

The Rapunzel wig is SO heavy (how that girl carried her hair around so long and now having to meet 100s of children a day with no relief, I'll never know) but we love it so much. I'm pretty sure everyone going on the trip has been forced to put in at least 5 hours of work to that wig!

I'm pretty sure when Jay and Chibi insisted on messaging my phone at exactly midnight last night to explode into glitter I saw the last of their sanity blow away in the last of the cold wintery Canadian air I don't know if my mind was already lost or it's in a drawer waiting for me to get back but I think mine's gone too!!!!

Worse,maybe, I was actually watching my phone last night til it hit midnight and my phone counter officially hit 30 days to text both you guys with the exclamation marks and caps lock XD My mind is officially gone. It comes back briefly every once in a while when i have an exam/lab report, but the rest of the time I think it's quite possibly lost somewhere!

My brain has descended into darkness. My sanity went not long before that. I'm currently sitting at the store (I manage a Dollarama in Orillia) and for the last 3 hours have been streaming DisRadio on the store radio (to save what little remains of my sanity from "Smooth Jazz Night"). Floor cleaners tonight means that I'm stuck here with Tux (cause he's keeping me company like the awesome friend he is. PS readers I am not only Tux's BFF but I'm his boss mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha) listening to Dis and reading Disboards until I can go home at about 11:30 tonight.

Tux here (with Chibi) and proof that my sanity has gone, though not sure when. I started to doodle the lyrics for "its a small world" on my exam paper....
