So you all will never believe where I ended up lat night about 8 p.m. in the middle of the Golden Globes?

Ok...you probably will guess since you are all so smart and everything!

That's right...ER and promptly to hospital for another 15 hours of IV meds and hydration.

I will post pics of my arms for your entertainment soon. I look like my arms were used as a pin cushion by Helen Keller.

Some more gut meds and a GI scope scheduled for Jan 27th. Dan will be out of town so I need to sucker my sister into going with me.

In fact Dan will be out of town minus a few days starting next Monday, until we leave for Spring Break....if I can go.

I might try and fly out to see him for a few days while he is in Seattle if I can but need to feel better and my health has to get to the point I am not in the docs office or ER as often as most people get to the grocery store.

They think I have come up with some strain of bacteria from all of the antibiotics I have been on. The doc told me 6 times what he thinks it is and now of course I have no memory. Something to do with antibiotics killing off good bacteria so nothing is left to fight bad ones and if this is it I need to be on a medicine that starts with an F.

I told him I have a medicine he can take with that same letter.

Ok - I am so sorry for the delay again but I could not make up my life if I tried.

OMG!! My neice is going through that right now!!! She had ear infection after ear infection and then she came down with what they thought was the noravirus (sp??) and determined she had this "C-Diff" which is where the good bacteria in her gut were all wiped out from all the many antibiotics and the only fix for it was MORE stronger antibiotics.....and when my sister went to get the new meds filled at the pharmacy she was told that they have NEVER filed this drug for a kid that young - they had to "convert" it from a pill to a liquid form so my neice could drink it down..

But she just started it, so my sister is hopefully that the "runs" will stop soon so she can get back to feeling better..

My neice is 2 1/2 and ended up losing 6% of her body weight with that "bug" - ..its not pretty!!

That would be Clostridium Difficile(C-Diff) and you need to get some Floragen or Culturelle girl! Even if you don't have c-diff with your daily antibiotics taking a live culture may not be a bad idea for you.

If it is c-diff it shouldn't be long for a sample even WITH pain meds
