Hi guys. Woke up this morning at 10 a.m. which tells me I am still sick even if I am out of the hospital. I am a 6 a.m. riser, no alarm clock needed woman, on a normal day.
They have me on a new antibiotic that is good for the strain of Ecoli bacteria that I have and finally am feeling like a human being. See some specialists next week and they may just put me on a low grade antibiotic for a short time each month for prevention.
All I know is I am sick of the medical bills that keep piling up. I personally think that since they cultured last Saturday January 8th, a "sample" and knew by Monday January 10th, the Cipro they gave me was not going to fight it and I had to wait till Wednesday January 12th for my appointment. That is 5 days I was on an antibiotic doing no good, 3 days that someone in the lab who cultures, knew it was doing me no good. By then, last Wednesday, I was so sick my blood pressure was out of whack and would elevate so much between laying down, sitting and standing up, that I was nauseous and light headed with even simple movements.
The problem is the ER does not talk with your GP or Lab people to your GP in a timely manner and if your GP is not there full time, you have no back up system at all. It is totally idiotic and I am going to be up someone's hind end tomorrow morning. Their miss-communication is going to cause me a huge co-pay and I think it is baloney.
The good news:
Between throwing up like the exorcist and having a fever and no appetite...I expect weigh in on Thursday to be good at WW. Loving the new points plus program!
I have no energy to write a new installment today but promise to have one or two up tomorrow. Need some happiness in my day!!
Heading back to bed!
Thanks for all the well wishes and kindness. I do appreciate reading them and your patience while I recovered.
