We went to Sharks Underwater Grill on Friday, December 28th. I had made a reservation by phone the afternoon prior for 3pm. I was told to check in 30 minutes before our reservation.

The line to check in was very long, and we got to the podium 20 minutes prior. We were told they were "extremely booked" and that they could only check us in 10 minutes before. Uhhhh okay. So, we looked at the sharks for a while and stood in the long line AGAIN for 10 minutes in order to check in. We were in no hurry and in good spirits, but it just seemed silly.

We were directed to a seating area to wait for our name to be called. I'd say we waited there for about 10 minutes or so. Our table was on the first floor, facing the tank. Very nice location.

Since it was 3:00, we weren't very hungry so we each had an appetizer. Dd had the shrimp cocktail and I had the coconut shrimp. Dd loved her shrimp! (she got 5). My meal was not very good. Four very overcooked shrimp, with no coconut taste or texture that I could find.

Dd enjoyed her meal and the experience tremendously, so I consider the meal a success! :goodvibes I thought the prices were a little steep, our bill was $37 for two appetizers and two drinks.

Hummm...that standing in line twice doesn't seem to make much sense. I think I would book here for a meal more for the experience than the food and from what you said, that seems like right expectations. LOL Thanks for the review!

We did Sharks shortly after they had opened for lunch. Felt the same way was not that hungry for a big meal. Iif we go back again it will have to be a dinner meal. Can't remember what we had but I do remember it was good enough for us to want to return. Lol it is a nice experience and the kids love it. Standing in line twice is crazy.
