Sharing The Magic

We went to WDW last September and had a fabulous time. It didn't occur to me until today that we spread a little "magic" ourselves!
I had purchased a big tube of glow sticks from Michael's that we cracked open at Epcot for our kids. They had lots of bracelets and necklaces made.
When we caught the bus back to POR, they keep the lights off. So there my kids sat, glowing like Tink! There were about 8 or 9 kids sitting in the back of the bus with us, so my kids took off their glow jewellery and shared it with everyone back there. Grandparents too! We all had such a laugh as the kids glowed in the dark.
Such a simple thing, but kept some from being cranky after a long day in the park. And just meeting people from all over the US was neat too! And it cost me a whole $1!
How do YOU share the magic?

We like to spread the magic as well. We tend to go to the parks in the AM and then head back to the hotel around lunch time. Before we leave the park we get fastpasses for a ride and hand them to someone just entering the gates. Since this is the time the parks get really busy it allways puts a huge smile on thier faces. Also, if we have extra fastpasses (someone does not want to go on the ride) we give them to someone in the back of the line!:yay:

Good topic. I always try and do little things to make someone else's WDW trip be their best. Acts of kindness that seem little often mean much to others.

Our last trip I was at a Pirates & Princess night and I had bought a blinking skull and bones pin and other blinky princess pins for my girls at the local party store (much cheaper then at WDW!!)

Anyways while standing for the parade a father approached me and said his daughter loved my blinking pirate pin and where did I get it. I explained I had bought them at home and could see the letdown in her face. As they turned away I told them to hang on and removed the pin and gave it to her. A small $3.50 pin to me .. an added memory for her.

It cost you nothing but a minute and a card swipe. That's awesome! Think I might just suggest this to the family this year!

What a great memory. And I bet that child probably still has that pin!
