Sharing Memory Maker?

We are going with another family in the fall, and would love to all use the same MM if possible. Our reservations aren't linked because we have our own rooms, they are doing the DP, we aren't, etc. Is there a way to link up for MM without being linked on MDE?

You need to add them to your Family & Friends list in order to see any of their photos. One of the options once you click 'Add a Guest' under Family & Friends list (on the MDE website) is to connect 'Through his or her Disney Resort reservation'. This option will allow you to add their entire family to your Family & Friends list at once.

NOTE: This does not link your room reservations, but is just a method to connect with their Family via your Family & Friends list.

Just some additional info...

Only one person has the capability to download photos with a Memory Maker purchase. Everyone else will be able to see the photos in his or her Photopass section of MDE, but they will have the watermark.

We only had a family group, but my DD did a lot of touring (and character visiting!) on her own. I was the MM "owner", so when I saw a photo that I knew she'd want to post on Facebook or Instagram, I'd download it on my phone and text it to her.

When you get home, you could share your sign-in information with the other family, or if you are not comfortable with that, you can download all the photos and add them to an online photo sharing site or upload them to a thumb drive or CD to share with the other family. You could have an "editing party" to add borders and other enhancements, if you'd like!

Can MM be shared by several families, even if they are all staying off-site?

Also note that any edits that "the other family" does to the photos will NOT be available for download. Only the edits done in the "owner" account will be part of the download. So if "the other family" would like to edit (borders on the photos) you will have to share your login info with them (or do all the editing yourself).
