Shareholding; do you get value?

Assuming we get hooked on DLRP I am considering whether its worth buying some shares for the discounts etc. Do existing shareholders consider to have had their moneys worth in the discounts? Are they real discounts or can the price be matched by shopping around? Thanks.

I definitely did not buy the shares for a return on my investment

If I look at the value spent on the shares, the discount on purchases, the sizeable reduction on room only at Davy Crockett Ranch then we feel it was worth it.

I agree with Reid, we have had far more than our initial outlay back in the discounts on restaurants, shopping, Buffalo Bill show, annual passes.

I feel ours were a worthwhile but as annual passes get discount it may be worthwhile buying just these instead initially and if you get hooked buying the shares. They aren't very expensive if you are going to go multiple trips.

Thanks, If we become regualars to DLRP then it seems worthwhile. I have a few BA shares and get 10% off flights which has more than paid for the shares.

What did you pay for the Crockett Ranch and when was this & how many nights etc.

Interested to hear about this as I allways thought the prices offered by Disney for room only were just about package prices.

Happy to share this Chris. For a family of five (2 adults 3 children), 8 days/7 nights, breakfast collected from the hut every day we were £745. This was in summer time
