It's the start of a new week. Let's make it a big one! For those who are new, just list what you did during the week to add to your Disney savings. It can be anything from throwing some change in a jar to selling some little-used stuff on craigslist. Anything that helps to cut your costs at Disney is fair game! Last week, I brought in over $100 in rewards - 2*$25 Target GCs from Perk, 1*$25 Target GC from SB and $25 PayPal from EarnHoney plus some smaller earnings thru Qmee, Shopkick, Checkout51 and SavingStar. I'm hoping to match that this week!

Sunday

• Nothing to report. Had a slow rewards day. Met my goals for SB and Perk.

Monday

• HAPPY LABOR DAY!
• Got 3 months of free AmazonFresh and a $20 credit for registering my Amazon Wand. Combined this with a $50 off $150 promotion for first orders and a current 15% promo for Amazon Prime Visa used for AmazonFresh. Paid $80 for $151 worth of groceries and I'll get $12 in Amazon rewards. All savings went right into the Mickey Money.
• Ordered 3*$150 Best Buy eGC from PayPal digital gifts. I'll be converting those to Disney GCs. Got 3*$15 in eBay GC to be used later for a Disney-related purchase.
• Made my second goal on SB, but only because I was able to get a survey for 75 points and complete a SWAGO row for 100 points.

Tuesday

• Received 3*$15 bonus Best Buy eGCs from the deal two weeks ago.
• Ordered 3*$100 Best Buy eGCs @$85 each from Kroger.
• Received 3*$15 eBay eGCs from Monday's PayPal digital gifts deal. Purchased a Disney item from the eBay Target Store.
  
• Received $25 Target GC from SB

Wednesday

• The 10X UR points (2500 pts.) from the walmart.com deal posted. I redeemed it for $25 cash back to the bank account I used to pay that bill.
• Ordered another 3*$100 Best Buy eGCs for $255 from Kroger shortly after midnight (the first order took more than 15 hours to receive, this one took under an hour).
• Redeemed the $25 Target GC from SB and the $25 Target GC from Perk for a $50 Disney GC at my local store.
• Redeemed some of my Best Buy Rewards for a $5 Best Buy Reward Certificate. Added that to the $45 in bonus Best Buy GCs from last month's deal and one of the $150 Best Buy GCs from that same deal. Bought a $500 Disney GC using my AmEx to get a $30 statement credit for a $300 Best Buy purchase. Should get 600 Best Buy Rewards Points and 500 Shopkicks for the purchase.
• Picked up some iBotta rebates while shopping and a lot of Shopkicks in Best Buy.
• Received $25 Target GC from Perk
• Received $25 PayPal from SB

Thursday

• Received $20 PayPal from iBotta
• Got 495 Shopkicks for my Best Buy purchase. I guess that there are no points for the part paid for with the Rewards certificate?

Friday

• Received $25 Target GC from Perk

Saturday

• Got the 2,500 UR points from the Chase Pay/Walmart offer on my Chase Freedom card. Redeemed for another $25 cash to be deposited in my checking account.

Sunday: Cashed in Bing Rewards for a $5 WalMart Gift Card. That will eventually be used towards a Disney Gift Card at Sam's Club.

Friday: Cashed in 2200 Swagbucks for a $25 WalMart Gift Card.

It's been a slow week for me earnings-wise. Working so much at my real job and my volunteer job, not much time for side gigs. I have met my Swagbucks and Bing goals every day this week.

Again, this will probably be a "SwagBucks Only" week for me...and I do not have high hopes. I work Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for 12 hours each day. If I get any spare time, I will probably be sleeping. I'm SO close to my goal...just $10 more in free earnings needed to get my $500 Disney gift card entirely FREE.

Sunday
Completed one survey (60), DQ'd from 2 (2), answered some profile questions (2), completed an offer (25) and got a referral SB from DH (1)...Total of 90 SB for the day and I made my first daily goal.

Monday
Whew! Lucky day! I managed to complete 2 mobile surveys and the daily poll while at work (56), got a search (14), and found out that my Jet.com order from some time in July finally credited (301). I made both goals and ended the day with 372 SB!

Tuesday
Car trouble today....DH's starter went out so we spent the day trying to get it fixed. I ended the day with only 16SB.

Wednesday
Got the car back...$950. I worked all day so I could only scrape together another 14SB, most of which were referral credits from DH. On the "bright" side, the credit card earned $9.50 from the car repair bill which will go toward my 2018 trip.

Thursday
Another bad showing for me...only 23SB today...but ALL of them were referral credits from DH! He had a good SwagDay!

Friday
10...that's it...just 10 measly SB earned today.

Saturday
I finished off the week a little better...95 SB today and I made my first goal.


I will say that it was a rough week overall in the household and Swagging was definitely not a priority. I worked 12-13 hours every day, except Tuesday. I finished my work week with 73 hours on the clock and spent my day "off" shuttling kids and DH around town since his car broke down and we had errands and appointments to keep.

That's fantastic! I'm there with my goal as well for our trip the first of October, but a little extra is always nice, right? Plus, we just confirmed with friends we'll be headed to Disneyland for the Star Wars park and the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion October 2019.

Woohoo! My paycheck came through this morning and had an extra $350 in it. Turns out that our budget team had been using the wrong formulas when they calculated our 2x a year awards and had been shorting everyone for the last few years. So they redistributed the extra money this award cycle and everyone got a supplement. We get to choose time off or cash, and I had chosen time off this cycle, so I got my 4 extra days off as expected and a unexpected $350 after taxes.

I'm using $50 to reimburse my friend for a concert ticket she couldn't use (she tried to sell it and couldn't, and I ended up giving it to another friend for free). Then I'll split the remainder between Disney and my general savings account--so $150 towards Disney today!

I have also done a few focus groups through 20/20 research. I did Perk for a bit, but it didn't really amount to much for me. I'm always looking for new ways to earn rewards!

I found a $5 walking into the grocery store on my lunch hour
I worked an extra day this week. And I will need to work one to 2 hours extra two other days this week.
I sold DD step 2 welcome home play house for $50 - think I pd $150 for it 12 years ago.
Sold 4 dozen years of corn to the bank tellers when I went to pay taxes, DS gets it for his Disney fund - he picked it.
I have a $5 coupon for Aldi that I will use Friday when I'm back in town.

I forgot for work we got bonus if we completed health form. I did and I faxed it in, I got the confirmation, but they said they did not receive it. They are doing extensions for the form and I might get the $400 bonus this month.

I have a lot of success with Perk, but I run several devices concurrently.
I recently started doing SB again now that the nCraves are profitable again.
EarnHoney for passive earning on two old laptops.
Shopkicks and CheckPoints for scans and shopping walkins/checkins.
iBotta, Checkout 51 and SavingStar for shopping rebates.

I've used MyPoints for over 10 years. It's not a big earner, but I do okay. SwagBucks bought MyPoints so they have a very similar format (NCraves, surveys, etc). I find I qualify for more surveys there. I usually run NCraves over there after I've hit my second goal at SwagBucks.

I'm another RecieptPal, Reciept Hog, Fetch Rewards, CheckOut 51, and Ibotta user as well as CheckPoints and Shopkick.

Awesome! I really like Ibotta. I don't create my shopping lists around it, but I'm pretty happy with the earnings I get from it! I've found using them for certain online/app purchases has been great, especially Poshmark and Amazon.
