Share Senseo is back!

The Share Senseo email we got won't let us advance to page two, despite filling out all the questions on page one.

Has anyone else had this problem?

If so, have you figured out what to do about it?

Yes, I see El Nebuloso's post--he is my DH :goodvibes

We do have a Senseo & we love it!
We would like one for DS18 who will be going to college next year.

Yes, it is much louder than the Keurig, but it sure was a darn sight less expensive (free the 1st time around)!

The first time I filled the form out it didn't go through and redisplayed the page with empty questions, I checked it again and hit continue and then it went through. Generally speaking I think they are looking for answers that will get the pot some exposure-like I wouldn't say I do not drink hot beverages, never have any friends over and don't belong to any groups!

How long before you get notified if you are eligible? I have a hubby who is an avid coffee drinker - this might be a nice alternative for him :)

This would be so perfect for our house. I like flavored coffees or strong coffee, DH likes his on the weaker side. If I get it, I won't have to race him to the kitchen in the mornings!

I found when I entered how many times a month my group met, they only wanted a number and I typed 4 times a month which it did not like so when I typed only the number 4 it worked,

I do not use the Senseo pods--I find the coffee to be too weak. What I do is make my own pods with a cut down coffee filter and a scoop of my favorite coffee. I fold it to make it a pod and place it in the two cup holder, use my fav. mug and hit the 2 cup button. I like it and we use it much more during the school year than in summer, but DH and I have a cup of decaf and catch up after dinner while the kids do homework during the school year.

They sell reusable coffee pod makers which is just a bit of plastic with metal mesh that you just put your own grinds in... no personal experience with them though so no idea how well they work.

I had heard of them, my sister bought one-I never remember to look for it when I'm shopping. She said you don't get the froth on top with it, but she didn't care-not sure I'd care either!

Last time I did it it took about 3-4 weeks before I got the email that said I had been selected. You will only get one email and that will have a link only you can use. Once you set it up with your info for delivery you have a choice of paying the $15 S/H with a CC or paypal. You should then receive it in 7-10 days.

Well, I filled out the survey, got the email saying I'm eligible... and now I see that it's only for US residents. If someone would like the invitation PM me your email address and I'll be happy to forward it to you seeing as how I cannot use it.

I signed up when I 1st saw this post (2 days ago I think.) I got an email today about it.

I am still trying to decided if it is worth it. I would like a single severing maker, I normally drink just one cup every few days. Not sure if it is worth the $15 and the space on the counter top. Also if the coffee tasks yucky I don't want to. I have a Gedivla (Sp??) coffee maker and I do like it. It was worth the promotional deal.

After signing up I am have being bombarded with emails trying to get to buy Rx's from Canada. I don't even have any Rx's I take on a regular basis. Anyone one else, or was this random. I mean 20 to 30 a day. Anyone else?

No, I haven't gotten any spam.
I did decide that this wasn't free..$15 is too much, for something that is like buying a printer. Once I own it..they stand to make money because I'll have ot buy their coffee. I think the original ad was misleading.

I need an education.

We have a Melitta One. Uses coffee & tea pods. We've used different brand pods with no problems.

I've demonstrated Tassimo machines at Target before. I liked how it could also make hot chocolate & other beverages. BUT, I did not like how it used t-discs (cups)....and they seemed to be the only ones using t-discs, so I was limited to what I could buy & where I could buy them. ex: Target, online.... Grocery store did not carry t-discs. Also, DH's favorite travel mugs did not fit under spout.

SENSEO uses pods, right? And I can fit anyones pods in it? DH likes the Folgers pods & I can get them at Walmart very reasonable.

Besides the coffee & tea pods, what other pods exist today? Are there any hot chocolate pods?

Anyone know how they compare to the TASSIMO, i love Tassimo cappacino's but wonder about the Senseo cappucino, do they even have Cappucino??

I applied the day this was posted and I got the email today that I was eligible. I am thrilled because my son complains all the time about my percolated coffee. Now he can make his hazlenut coffee on his own, yuck, give me tea or plain coffee anytime.
They take paypal so it was very easy, I hope the coffee is good.

Yes you can use the Folgers pods. I use them also. Yes, it does come in cappichino flavors also,

lol... coffeemate makes flavored cream which you can use instead of making flavored coffee. they have a ton of flavors too.

I just got my email ! It's going to be a great Christmas gift for my DD's figure skating coach. DH already has a Senseo and he likes it quite a bit. The pods are a little expensive but he only uses it when he only has time for a cup or two. Personally I can't stand the stuff any way you brew it !

I have both machines. The Tassimo sits on my countertop. The Senseo is in storage, waiting for the garage sale. There is no comparisson between the Tassimo's cappucino and Senseo's. The Tassimo wins hands down! Creamier foam, stronger espresso flavor. I buy my t-cups thru Gevalia online or I use my 20% off coupons at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Oh, and if you like their cappucino, you've got to try their chai tea...yummo!
