You inspire me with all this walking.
I used to walk for an hour about 6 days a week. I injured my foot, and I just can't get back into the swing of things now that it is better.
Just start out slow, Walk 1 block the first day, then add a driveway each day or walk for 20 minutes then add to it each day. I found it very helpful to find a friend to walk with, then you have someone to keep you moving. If you don't have someone to walk with you, pop in a podcast and let Pete & Crew keep you entertained while you walk.
We started out walking for 20 minutes 3 weeks ago and now we walk for an hour, every morning. We meet at work at 6 am and start out from there. It is so much cooler in the morning than later in the day, which helps keep us going.

You think I'd know by now that my body doesn't gain weight quickly and doesn't lose weight quickly... I guess it's slow and steady for me.

I have always found that it's easy to start any diet, but after about 2-3 weeks, that's when it gets hard to STICK with it! Honestly, I need a little less
and a little more
Also, on my computer at work, I have a tiny little post it note stuck to the corner of my monitor, staring at me like the Geico money! On it is simply written 2 numbers: where I am now with my weight, and where I want to be. No one knows what those numbers are for. Kinda have them written like a fraction, but it's always a great pleasure every time I can change that top number, even by just one little pound.

and down on the scale.
