Shamu shows on or off with new baby?

Are the SHamu shows back on or off still with the birth of the new baby whale?

They have them. They're just not quite what they were. Not as much splash factor, I guess would be the way to describe it. There arent as many tricks, but there are still a lot, and you get to see the baby. The shows are still absolutely amazing, and left us speechless, as usual (hard to do in our crew).

If you have never seen Killer Whales before, sure, it's amazing. But I found the "show" quite boring and uneventful. The new baby is cute and it is very awesome to see it but the "show" is no longer a show. The previous show has been hacked down to just a presentation. There no longer is any interaction of trainer and animal as the trainers never even enter the water. They merely run around the stadium at water's edge directing the whales. Now without getting into the whole "wild animals in captivity with unnatural human interaction" debate, the most amazing part of the entire show was always for me the wild animals in captivity with unnatural human interaction. The relationships created and displayed were incredible. There is also no audience participation with volunteers involved in the show. It also only lasted about 15-20 minutes... tops!
I would not stay for this show again I would only stay for the part leading up to the show and watch the killer whales swim around the tank. It is about what the "show" now has become. At least temporarily until the baby grows up.

When i went in Feb right after the baby was born....The trainers were in the water with the whales ALOT. I saw both of the shows they had and i thought they were GREAT!
