This past year, DH and I have been visiting WDW on the average of twice a month. Don't always do the parks....many times we visit DTD and have lunch and dinner there, or enjoy strolling around one of the resorts and trying a new restaurant.

My daughter, who resides in NC, heard us talking about the fun we were having and asked if I'd make arrangements for her and a friend to see some of these things when they visited us during Christmas. I was thrilled to do that and made BIG plans! When my daughter and friend arrived I was soooo excited about all I had planned for them to do. Their schedule was as follows:

Day1.....2 tickets to EPCOT/dinner with PS at LE CELLIER/ room for 2 at WILDERNESS LODGE

Day2.....2 tickets to ANIMAL KINGDOM/ dinner with PS at JIKO/room for 2 at THE POLY

Day 3.....2 tickets to MK/ dinner with PS at O'HANA

My cousin (CM) was nice enough to help in arranging this at the last minute. He called in some favors from other CM to make this work. He's an

Now, on to my shame. She said it really didn't sound too fun after all and they'd rather just cruise the beach in Daytona. :scared: So they did! DH and I enjoyed "their" Christmas at WDW!!! Hard to believe that girl is really mine! :sad2: If you're thinking they probably couldn't afford to do all this.....save your pity. We were paying for EVERYTHING!

:faint:

I know the pain you must be feeling right now. Im so very sorry!

Surely there must a self help group near by? (((hugs))) youre not alone!

LOL

Hey....I'm in NC....can I come take her place?? :teeth: ;)

Sorry she's not as big a Disney fan as you are. :confused3

Are you sure she wasn't mixed up at birth with another baby girl???? LOL...glad you at least enjoyed it all..:p

Anytime you need someone to step in for your daughter I volunteer! :teeth: What's wrong with the girl...oh yeah she's young!

I feel your pain, my daughter rejects any and all things that I enjoy. Sometimes I tell her I like something that I don't or the reverse just to drive her nuts. LOL

BTW, I am available for adoption and I also know how to write thank you notes. (smile)

I too feel your pain. Our children always manage to find ways to shock the doo-doo out of us, don't they? :p

Did your daughter have a good time cruising the beach? Daytona might be interesting during bike week or the 500, but I'll take WDW anyday.

I have to admit when we were first married our parents planned a trip to Disney together. DH and I wanted no part of it. It wasn't until 5 years later when I went cross country with my parents and we vistied Disneyland I got bitten again by the Disney bug.

Think maybe she'll be the focus of one of those "switched at birth" stories? ;)

Well if there's any good in it, it's that you got to experience it all! Shame on her! LOL

I can relate...DS is only 10 and he has decided that our trip this Dec is the end of the line! He has absolutely no intentions of heading back to WDW before he gets to see New York, California, Hawaii and HERSHEY PARK PA. Seeing as how 3 out of 4 of those will cost us more than WDW...it will be a LOOOOONG time b4 he walks down mainstreet to the castle. The way I see it, DD and I will be able to do some "girls only" trips...DD would spend the rest of her life traveling ONLY to Fl....DH says he gets robbed tho...having to stay w/DS. He'll come around in time...the etime when he sees all our bags packed for WDW and his packed for GRANDMAS!;)

How can you even show your face here on the DIS? Oh, the shame, the shame... (But you had a great time, so that makes up for it!)

I think she has been cruising around on a boat with Me and group of zanys in France lately. She is trying to see if she can break Mom's record for Prison breaks.

I'll send Carlos for her!!! :scared1: By the way, you never thanked me for having the ship painted coral. :duck:
