Shame On Dvc

DVC pushed and pushed promo after promo to entice existing members to HURRY and ADDON before the price increase. The lure of the exciting new BLT enticed thousands of DVCer's to addon there, many of which were small 25 point contracts. Its not easy to stretch 25 points at a premier location as many of you already know. Now with the ink barely dry on these contracts, DVC has adjusted upcoming year point allocations that will require even more points for a stay. Did you ever have the feeling that the rug was being pulled out from under you?

I guess it's all in how you look at it. Personally, I have no problem with the recent adjustments. It has always been DVC's perogative to adjust the points charts so the possibility has always been there.

I guess some people just like to see the glass half-empty.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the 2010 point system - we typically stay more than 5 nights, and so getting a break on the weekend rates makes a lot of sense.

However, I see your point for people who bought small contracts with an eye on periodic short stays.
