I am new to all this but I love your designs. My question is: is it best to use the magnetic paper or laminate than use something like the magnet strips you can buy?

For me, I printed on card stock, laminated and placed magnetic tape on the backs. This worked for me as I have heard differnent end results for magnetic paper. It's all a matter of personal preference I guess. Have fun creating whatever method you decide.

I can't answer to what is 'best', but I can tell you what I plan to do. I bought clear Contact paper to use for signs, much cheaper than laminating. And I save all those little business card size ad magnets, so I'll cut and glue those to the backs. They're nice and thin and should work just fine.

Aren't those business cards and advertisment magets great. Cut them into strips, a little glue and there you go.

Wondered if I could make some requests please? I know you're looking at some New York designs so will definitely be back for them when they're done, but you have so many fab designs already I found a couple to get me started! I will try not to miss them this time when you post them (but I probably will, I must need my eyes testing I think! )

I just noticed that the peace sign head has a misspelling - Can you please change to Jessie...I can't actually take the credit for noticing - we printed, cut, laminated and put magnet strips on back and have had on our fridge for the last week and my daughter noticed the spelling last night! We were so excited to get them and didn't even notice!!

I just found out we have two more joining us on the cruise!! We really are going to have a "Crew" .

Jon would like a full Mickey like Colleen, but Jeanne is another problem. Her favorite character is Cinderella. If you could create something within the pirate theme for Cinderella, that would be great, but if not, I think she'd like the Tinkerbell like mine (Jen).

I also forgot to ask if the year in the right ear could be the 2012 with the little mickey as the 0?

I really appreciate all your help with this. As soon as I'm able to post pictures, I'll post the tip envelopes that I created using some of your wonderful designs.

One small change, if possible. Jon has requested his to be changed to Tigger, but will take the Mickey if Tigger is unavailable. Again, there is no rush on these requests so anything you can do would be wonderful. I've loved all the work you do and I'm not letting anyone on the website to pick. I'm trying to keep them to a minimum. They haven't even seen what I'm requesting. It's a surprise for all of them.

I really appreciate everything you do for all us Disney fans!

Hello, I am not really sure if you do this sorta thing but I have a very special Non-Disney t-shirt request. I am trying to get a special design for my Girl Scout troop for the rodeo. A parent had some awesome shirts made for our troops Disney camping trip last year from DISigns on this site; so I couldn't think of anywhere better to ask. I have a design in mind, but am not sure it will be possible. We were invited by the city of San Antonio to lead the youth day parade at the rodeo. As you can see, I am very excited and want everything to be perfect. What I would like (maybe impossable, I am not sure) is a cartoon Cowgirl roping out 100th with her lasso, and the words "Girl Scouts ROCKIN' their " 100th" year at the Rodeo" then somewhere "troop 1157". I hope you understand what I am asking, I didn't make it easy. Feel free to come up with your own ideas too, please. Feel free to pm me to let me know if you think this design can be done. Thank you! I am sorry if this is the wrong thread or not the proper place to post this type of request, as you can see I am new to this. Thanks again!

I can't get rid of the white background square. Is there any way you can email me the .png files like you did for the zip-a-dee-do-da words so I can get them printed before we leave for a funeral on Thursday night? Let me know if that's a problem
