What is it with people saying Disney is going to sue over the embroidered clothing? My MIL and FIL were on Skype with their friends in Florida yesterday. She showed them the Canada Mickey head shirts I did for them and their friends asked if we were ready to be sued if we wore them in the parks?
I don't get why people say that all the time. Even my local sewing store told me I could get my computer confiscated for having Disney applique's on it

I LOVE: seeing your scrapbook pages! This summer I am packing my car full of all my supplies and pictures and while we all go out fabric shopping I'm making you stay home and do my scrapbook!!!! I'm j/k, you can do it while we all sit around chatting so you can be included on our conversations (see how kind I am?!).

Okay I did post this on my PTR but I will share here to keep the thread moving.
Here is my completed set of nerds for Miss C's Skirt.
I am going to try and pull a late night today or tomorrow to get it done before the competition this weekend.
Okay so lets move this along with my mindless ramblings, remember me being petrified of my serger and not being able to thread it. Well about 2 weeks ago one of the Disbotique girls gave me a tip on threading it backwards and now I can rethread my machine. I had to do it this morning and it took me 2 minutes.
I am now very happy with my serger it is my new love. I love the polished look it gives the outfits. I used it on the AK outfit for my first fully finished project.
and since not everyone follows my PTR I will post it here.
Forgive me D~ for what I am about to do to your PTR!!! But you REALLY should be enjoying Disney and NOT hanging out here! And you DID say I could decorate....

I create with paper, you all with fabric.....don't understand the sueing thing either, what about all the disney stuff we create for scrapbooks...they make the cartridges for the Cricuts and people make things and some sell them 
I totally see the "powdered donuts" - however, in light of our trip and where we are staying - I prefer to think of them as "beignets".

I am not sure if we should take it right after we have lunch? Or if we should just skip out on Epcot early and head back to the hotel after our Cape May dinner? The last time we were here - we opened and closed every park we were in every day... This time, I am really trying to enjoy everything and take some breaks. The girls are enjoying the breaks...

My dd wore this outfit to school yesterday and loved it -- she thought it was so comfy because it's knit. I must buy more knits now! We found afternoon breaks to be the best. That's when the parks seemed more crowded, though we didn't have bad crowds. I talked to my sister yesterday. They are at CBR (and not too happy with a couple of things like their broken refrig that took 24 hours to be replaced). Her bigget complaint is all the dang strollers and motorscooters/people mover thingies -- she said those are the worst (we never saw any when we were there!). So I imagine the corwds aren't the greatest right now and I think afternoon breaks would be the best -- alot of people get tired in the evening so the crowds die down then.Hi everyone!
First - Yes Marianne - I got your email... It was only slightly larger doing it that way. I did get some video about it from someone else - not very good video, but it helped me figure out the size.
I am up earlier than I want to be... I accidentally set the alarm too early - it's very dark in here and I can't figure out how to shut it off - the girls are still sleeping and I am listening to static/bad dance party music.
THe girls and I had a pretty good day yesterday... We opened MK early and got lots of photopass pictures on Mainstreet... I am a bit disappointed in PP photographer availability - we've been in the park a lot and the only place we have pictures so far is up and down main street iwth the castle in the background.
No more comments about being sued by Disney - I do want to clarify though that the CM wasn't rude about it at all... maybe a bit condecending or smug - but she wasn't rude. It was me who was fumbling all my words because I was so shocked by what she said.
THe girls and I wore Marianne's shirts yesterday, and we got a lot of comments on them.
Our CP breakfast was amazing! We are still shocked by how much food is on the Dining plan... The dessert seems like such a waste, because by the time I get to it - I am stuffed and can't eat it. So far, all of our food has been delicious.
I am super excited for today... Today is our big Diser meet day. We get to see Liddy and her family. We also get to meet Corri - who flew in last night and is staying with us at POFQ somewhere - she never texted me her room #, just that she was here. All 3 of our families will be in Epcot today, so we plan to do the Soarin' FP run together, and ride it. We also plan to meet up for lunch. Then tonight is our big Dismeet, with all the March Disers at WDW, we are meeting at Yee Haw Bob's. It should be a great time!
The girls and I also have our Cape May dinner ADR... I am trying to figure out a way that we can sneak in an afternoon break - as we are just exhaused... and we still have 8 days to go!
Believe it or not (and I don't want to jynx it) - but the girls are getting a long really well... either the months of threatening are sinking in - or their dad bribed them??? They have had one little squabble over the hair straightener yesterday. I shouldn't even be telling you this - because now they are going to start fighting...
I better get going... I need to tidy up my hair a little bit and do our breakfast run before it gets busy down there.

Clearly I disagree with this. I told her she must wait a week and think about it. Then she remembered she is being Dorothy for the school play in May so can't have it that short. So I told her I would trim 4 inches off of it for now (I think I can handle that -- it will get rid of all the straggly ends so may look better) but what am I going to do come May??? My only thought was I might feel better if we donated to locks of love (I did that with my hair once) but I will still be so sad to see her long hair go. Wanted Judy's input to see how she would feel if Lisa wanted her hair cut.
They were like that when we went too. Of course, I had nothing to compare it to, but from what I had seen on the DIS, I expected to see them everywhere. Oh well, At least I had my mom there to take pics
