I have never done facebook at all with my real name -- I had a stalker in undergrad (who thankfully got booted after the first quarter -- he failed out because he was spending too much time stalking me!) so I really don't want my real name out there. That's why I never joined the Disbout fb group. A friend of mine who was on a private forum with me made my fb account -- she even picked my name -- so we could set up a private group on fb among a few friends rather than pay for our private forum. That's the only reason I have any fb access.

Frankly, I'm kind of scared to start a business b/c the business part scares me. I don't like tax forms! I would dread doing taxes with a private business. Otherwise I would love to -- just don't want to deal with rules and regulations.

Like you, I don't text and I only semi FB with a group of about 10 friends who live all over the country. If you read above it's not even my real name as I don't want it on fb b/c I was stalked -- not by Nini's TA though And I haven't started selling. VA is weird -- I have to have a business license which I would pay for based on projected sales and I have to turn in monthly state tax forms even if I have $0 sales in VA. I didn't look any further than that. I have no idea about federal tax laws. If I were exempt from those then I would still consider doing it, but we're among the 53% of Americans that actually pay taxes, so I just don't want to deal with it.

I think we have to wait for her...she has to start her own thread!!!

How fortunate it was that fate intervened and Rufus found the very best family to love him, raise him, play with him, feed him, take him to the lake (and apparently everywhere else), teach him to love the sound of sewing machines, and to grow up a beloved member of his community. He was so lucky to be cared for right up to the very end, continuing to love and be loved.

Actually...she is now my EX TA! I cancelled that trip....and I even un -friended her on FB! I actually breathed a sigh of relief when I was able to confirm this morning that trip was cancelled. Of course, I will feel even better once the money is back in my account!

Can I prove she was stalking me...no...however...after I complained about her, she sent me an email with details that were in the post...and since I have never named her, I don't think anyone else could have told her I was talking about her. She also had some questions about my friend's trip that were only raised with info from my report...


I just have to remember that she is also on a couple of other boards I am on...so I have to be careful. not to say too much! LOL!


I'm hoping she will get tired of stalking me eventually...but I will start posting on my PTR again after I get my refund...I hate confrontation!

Our flight was a tad early. ME was nice - we weren't the first resort dropped off - but we didn't care, because we got to oogle other resorts. My girls already have a list prepared for our next resort.

Our room is amazing... Our location is amazing (bldg 6)... The resort is amazing... the view is amazing... the theme is amazing...

We LOVE the dining plan... so far, we've only eaten at the resort food court - but everyone that works there has been super nice to us, helping us learn the dining plan, because we've never used it before.

I had comments on Chiara's shirt - lots of them. V had comments on Marianne's shirt - lots of them...

Some of the resort empolyees loved the Up bag - and then asked my why Disney hadn't sued me yet. Yah - that was a bit uncomfortable, and I wasn't quite sure how to answer it???? I really wasn't prepared for that. So, now I'll probably get sued by Disney.

Otherwise - we had a wonderful first day in MK... Rode splash, Rode HM... Got the girls' and Rufus' silhouettes done...

I actually saw my Evil Queen bag too - so that was cool.

OK - the girls are bugging me to go to bed - we have an early ADR at CP tomorrow.

being self emp is a lot of work....I was contantly worrying about the money coming in and going out...CA was a tough state too since we had State and Fed taxes.

Good morning to all my Dis friends...

Every morning is a great morning in WDW - if I could just get my eyes open. I am waiting for the food court to open so I can get some coffee and get the girls some unleaded hot chocolate to kick start our day. We plan to be out to the bus stop no later that 7:30am. We are all so tired, I wouldn't be surprised if we came back to our room for a nap today.

I forgot to mention something really important yesterday (if I wouldn't have been so distracted by the girls telling me to go to bed - rather forcefully)... When our luggage was delivered - we also had some pixie dust sitting here! Lisa and Megan sent us a cooler of goodies from the Disney Florist - and it is wonderful!!! It has a trillion snacks in it that will come in handy, a bottle of water and also 2 cans of pop! It was super wonderful that Lisa and Megan did that... My girls expressed their unending love for the two of them. Yet, I got them here. Oh well.

Today is an early morning adr at CP, then we are off to Tomorrow land - SM, BLSRS & CoP are top of our lists. We might try to sneak into Fantacy Land after we finish those, and probably come back to our room for a nap.

The girls continue to be in love with the food court at POFQ and think it's better than "buttered bread"... It's just food - but I must be honest, it's way better than I expected. ANd I can't get over how nice everyone is - maybe it's because we are excessively nice to them? WHile in WDW, I firmly believe that the experience is enhanced if you are nice to everyone - CMs go out of their way to help you out, and I love talking to all of them, most of them are super funny and have wonderful stories to tell - to me, that is half of the Magic of Disney.

Oops, better go. The food court is open and I need to sneak down there before it gets busy... Wanna try an order of beingnets... Oop, of course. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Awww, that was so sweet of Megan and Lisa! Was it the Mickey Butt cooler??? (we had a friend send us one at GKTW and that is what I call it, it looks like Mickey's pants). Glad you started out with Pixie Dust!

I have one thing to say about the "Be nice theory". I am generally a truly kind person (and love to toot my own horn as we all know). We ran into some of the KINDEST folks on our trip (the most were at Universal, believe it or not). We also ran into some of the nastiest, rudest people I had ever encountered at Disney...and Lisa and Megan were with us to witness the nastiest thing anyone has ever said to me at Disney. And this was with my HUGE smile and Southern charm oozing out of me....am I right Lisa? Not saying that to put a damper on anything, I am just saying it to be aware that I EXPECT good behavior, but if it isn't there, just smile and move on!

Oh I would LOVE some Beignets for breakfast...ENJOY!!!!!! I am SO EXCITED you are at DISNEY!!!!! Aren't we doing good keeping your thread hopping while you are gone????

Awww, that was so sweet of Megan and Lisa! Was it the Mickey Butt cooler??? (we had a friend send us one at GKTW and that is what I call it, it looks like Mickey's pants). Glad you started out with Pixie Dust!

I have one thing to say about the "Be nice theory". I am generally a truly kind person (and love to toot my own horn as we all know). We ran into some of the KINDEST folks on our trip (the most were at Universal, believe it or not). We also ran into some of the nastiest, rudest people I had ever encountered at Disney...and Lisa and Megan were with us to witness the nastiest thing anyone has ever said to me at Disney. And this was with my HUGE smile and Southern charm oozing out of me....am I right Lisa? Not saying that to put a damper on anything, I am just saying it to be aware that I EXPECT good behavior, but if it isn't there, just smile and move on!

Oh I would LOVE some Beignets for breakfast...ENJOY!!!!!! I am SO EXCITED you are at DISNEY!!!!! Aren't we doing good keeping your thread hopping while you are gone????

yes I did see the "unmagical" part of disney that night, so not right!
and Judy was very restrained with the rude CM's, so much more than I would of been!

hope you and the girls have a yummy breakfast at CP and fun at MK! sounds like a nap laying by the pool would be good for you all! then you can go back tonight for somemore Disney magic!!!

I didn't know you were ever self employed. I hear CA is a nightmare -- my sister is a nurse and I know she all sorts of issues with her nursing license there. I told dh I will NEVER be an optometrist there -- their CE requirements are so harsh.

Good morning to all my Dis friends...

Every morning is a great morning in WDW - if I could just get my eyes open. I am waiting for the food court to open so I can get some coffee and get the girls some unleaded hot chocolate to kick start our day. We plan to be out to the bus stop no later that 7:30am. We are all so tired, I wouldn't be surprised if we came back to our room for a nap today.

I forgot to mention something really important yesterday (if I wouldn't have been so distracted by the girls telling me to go to bed - rather forcefully)... When our luggage was delivered - we also had some pixie dust sitting here! Lisa and Megan sent us a cooler of goodies from the Disney Florist - and it is wonderful!!! It has a trillion snacks in it that will come in handy, a bottle of water and also 2 cans of pop! It was super wonderful that Lisa and Megan did that... My girls expressed their unending love for the two of them. Yet, I got them here. Oh well.

Today is an early morning adr at CP, then we are off to Tomorrow land - SM, BLSRS & CoP are top of our lists. We might try to sneak into Fantacy Land after we finish those, and probably come back to our room for a nap.

The girls continue to be in love with the food court at POFQ and think it's better than "buttered bread"... It's just food - but I must be honest, it's way better than I expected. ANd I can't get over how nice everyone is - maybe it's because we are excessively nice to them? WHile in WDW, I firmly believe that the experience is enhanced if you are nice to everyone - CMs go out of their way to help you out, and I love talking to all of them, most of them are super funny and have wonderful stories to tell - to me, that is half of the Magic of Disney.

Oops, better go. The food court is open and I need to sneak down there before it gets busy... Wanna try an order of beingnets... Oop, of course. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Glad you are off to a good, albeit sleepy, start this morning. We went back to our room and napped every day and stayed there until closing every night. It was less crowded that way too -- though crowds weren't a big issue at all when we were there.

Kindness is usually rewarded with kindness -- honestly, I treat EVERYONE as nice as I possible can. And when I work I even have to be nice to some people I'd rather not be nice too! I find that complimenting a really grumpy person usually makes him/her (usually it's a her) much nicer. We never encountered anyone in Dis that was rude except for a couple of mild incidents of other tourist being rude. All the cm's were delightful.

What are you all wearing today? Wonder if you will get sued today?

Have a superb day! I will be leaving for work shortly so likely won't have much time to post, but I promise I will make up for it on another day! Judy really kept things rolling yesterday!

I can't believe you encountered rudeness when being kind. I, like you, try to be as sweet as can be to everyone. I rarely have people that are excessively rude to me -- though some people are -- just their unfortunate nature.

Jim opened up his own golf course renovation/landscape company in July 2007, had been a dream of his for a LONG time! did really good until winter 2008 when economy got so bad, we limped along for a year until he went back to work for the NY company April 2009...happy he finally realized his dream even though it made many sleepless nights for me!

believe Judy was dripping with her southern charm....although I wasn't there when she went to guest services that night to complain about the very UNKIND CM"S...one was not just rude, but UNKIND!!

I agree, grumpy, rude people are just that and being in Disney won't change their personalities!
