Sorry Judy -- I had to leave to take the kids to school and then I had an appt at 1000 so I just killed time at Target until the appt as the appt was closer to the kids' school than to my house. Then I had to go vote. I'm back now. And if we fill D's ptr enough she won't have the time to view it all over her phone. She's a one anyway for having the luxury of internet phone service.

Anyway Judy, you did a fabulous job while I was gone We're off to a good start! Do you have any pictures you'd like to post over here??? D's LOVES it if you make something and post pics on her ptr. All David's woodworking projects would be a good start.

Hmm, no one invited me to be a part of a group. I have three customs made and after doing taxes last week (well, dh does them but I do all the leg work and reviews and catch his mistakes and earn us more $$$) I can't even imagine the nightmare of having to add etsy business to the mix so I'll likely just hope a BG child can use them.

And D, since you are snooping and reading along, did you ever get a new pair of glasses?

So... for anyone on Facebook.... A group of Disboutiqers are getting together to make some customs for Disney. Our name is Main Street Boutiques and our first launch date is April 3. The theme is "We are all a bunch of characters!" I have seen some of the sneak peeks...they are gorgeous! If you aren't on Facebook yet (hint, hint) now is a good time to come on over!

Forgot to add, excuse Samantha's hair -- I bought dd a beauty parlor chair for her doll for Valentine's and dd has Samantha's hair partially braided in the back and has about 10 bows in it so it may look a little whacky.

I don't think so my friend....Judy's going to have me cooking and cleaning (which I will happily do for her...yes Judy you read it right!!)...have to "pay" for our room and board somehow

I don't think they are putting up pics until their launch in April (though I could be completely wrong). Nini makes BEAUTIFUL clothes and quilts. She posted several things in the past on the Disboutiquer thread. Lately I've mostly seen her do embroidered t's because she can't get her dd to wear customs anymore. She also has a ptr so if you look at the link in her sig that will take you there and there on some pics on that. Hopefully Nini can pm you if she has a page with things she's made in the past.

I am going to try and pull a late night today or tomorrow to get it done before the competition this weekend.

Okay so lets move this along with my mindless ramblings, remember me being petrified of my serger and not being able to thread it. Well about 2 weeks ago one of the Disbotique girls gave me a tip on threading it backwards and now I can rethread my machine. I had to do it this morning and it took me 2 minutes.

I am now very happy with my serger it is my new love. I love the polished look it gives the outfits. I used it on the AK outfit for my first fully finished project.

and since not everyone follows my PTR I will post it here.

I have never heard of threading a serger backwards. I don't think my spools would fit through some of those tiny holes I love my serger -- it makes things look so much more professional rather than handmade. I just have a cheapy singer -- it's not the greatest, but it gets the job done and does decent rolled hems and lettuce edges as well.

I just made an Olivia and did lettuce edges on it. I won't post pics until I get my leggings done and I can't do those now because I am currently servicing myself as a dog bed.

Since my PTR is currently being stalked by the not so nice TA....(and I just cancelled the trip we had with her and rebooked with my old TA for the free dining!) I'll start!

I book my ADRs in just 19 days...now that we added another day...I have to rework EVERYTHING! We are having a family meeting in a few days to go over everything one more time before things start to get crazy!

Actually...she is now my EX TA! I cancelled that trip....and I even un -friended her on FB! I actually breathed a sigh of relief when I was able to confirm this morning that trip was cancelled. Of course, I will feel even better once the money is back in my account!

Can I prove she was stalking me...no...however...after I complained about her, she sent me an email with details that were in the post...and since I have never named her, I don't think anyone else could have told her I was talking about her. She also had some questions about my friend's trip that were only raised with info from my report...


I just have to remember that she is also on a couple of other boards I am on...so I have to be careful. not to say too much! LOL!


I'm hoping she will get tired of stalking me eventually...but I will start posting on my PTR again after I get my refund...I hate confrontation!


I really hope my hubby gets my light fixed in my studio so I can start sewing at night again! Only sewing during the daylight hours is driving me crazy!
