We are arriving on the 6th but are hoping to go out to Montserrat that day so won't be available for dinner. I did hear that there will be a meeting on the starboard side at the sailaway party so I'll look for everyone there.

If I remember reading correctly, you are doing the Adventures by Disney before...am I right? If so, I really hope you have a good time and would love to hear about that. I have heard great things about those tours.

We (me, DH, DD11) are going to attempt Rome on our own. I looked at the details posted earlier and thought we could try it. I wanted to see parts of each of the Disney tours so we decided to see what we could do on our own.

I picked up our docs at AAA on Wed

We're taking off 7/5, arriving in London 7/6 with a large layover, then arriving in Barcelona that night.
We're going home in the afternoon of 7/18.

OK, I placed my order for Euros and Pounds today at my local bank. Here is a comparison of the "Sell At" rates with my local bank versus the airport currency exchange (Travelex).

Euros $1.41 = 1 Euro
Pounds GBP $2.09 = 1 Pound

There was a $15.00 flat fee for the whole transaction.

By comparison, the airport was $1.51 for 1 Euro, and $2.24 for 1 Pound.
The airport fees where also higher.

The currency will arrive within 2 to 4 business days.

I called DCL to ask something today and when she pulled up my resie, the agent mentioned that she had just spent almost an hour on the phone trying to find a family a spot on our cruise. She said that there was nothing left - she said that the woman told her that she would be willing to pay any price and that we could probably make some money.

She then told me how jealous she herself was and that I should know how lucky I was to go on a trip like this. I told her that I know that it is a blessing to be able to go, but that I had also been planning (and saving) for over a year and a half!

I know that we are all blessed to be able to go though and I know that we will all enjoy it SO much! Only a little bit left to wait now-

PS- Sorry I can't help alikat99- my children are older than that.
