JD will be picking me up, but the poor guy is getting tired of driving. Talk about traipsing -- he goes out of town almost every week now (and has to drive to most of his work destinations). Recently he had his "personal best" for work: 5,200 miles in one week! (and that was just driving around GA, TN and MS!!!)

we drive 6 miles a day, round trip to the train station and about 20 on the weekend.

Poor JD... I know he likes to drive, but I hope he is planning to fly to WDW instead of drive. To give some perspective: My car is 4 years old and I just turned over 36,000 miles on it. Had Bob not been in a Richmond hospital for a month last year I doubt that I would have more than 32,000 on it!

Sad but true.... I used to drive all the time, but I have gotten to where I just despise to drive. So all the public transportation we have around ehre is a very good thing!

It is a little early. It doesn't take a lot of warm days for them to pop. My DD who lives in Boston sent me the most exquisite photo of blooming cherry trees in your neck of the woods!


Seems it is not just here in the MidAtlantic that we are having a very early spring!

Thanks, Pam! I told Bob yesterday that most people look at technical things when buying a phone. Me... I want to know the megapixel and zoom properties of the darned thing before I will even pick it up! I love not "having" to have a camera with me all the time and still being able to get some decent shots of things I want to remember.

I was all set one night of the cruise with just the iPhone, on airplane mode of course, and then ended up taking a video which sucked up the rest of my memory. What would have been hundreds if not a thousand more pictures I had a 20 minute video. Oh well, I was so glad I had something. But I agree with you, it's so nice not to 'have' to bring a camera these days.

What type of coffee make can we expect in a 1BR villa at Kidani?

I'm not sure if the villas changed to the new coffee makers or not. The resorts have been getting the Cusinart Pod type coffee makers that brew 2 cups at a time, or only 1. The room stocks the Cusinart coffee pods, not the nescafe (thank goodness).
But again, I'n not sure if the villas switched, hopefully someone will come along that knows.

Today is our community band's Spring concert and though it's indoors, heavy rain is predicted, which means attendance will be pathetic. I just hope we cam get more people in the audience than on stage!
